The Accidentals - Fractals (Lyric Video)

- One afternoon in the summer of 2020, after spending multiple days too anxious to leave the couch, we drove to Lake Leelanau and rented a boat. With three wetsuits and absolutely zero water sports skills we had a wonderful time wiping out while Charlie Steen stayed dry and captured it all on camera. We wanted to show the juxtaposition of one moment thinking you have everything figured out, then suddenly being deep in over your head. Ultimately it's about getting back up. Being there for each other. Looking ridiculous. Trying again, and again, and again. This song was inspired by patterns. Small perfect patterns in nature like the fractals in a tree leaf, or big messy patterns like the changing from one season to another. It's always a cycle. This song is about the comfort and anxiety that comes from those cycles. That, and mosquitos.

Saw this song live in Nashville the other day and I’d say it’s even better live
would rather be eaten by mosquitos than stabbed by bees a million times over, love this story video so much, reminds me of trying to water ski & failing to hold on to the rope & being thrown off balance into the bay over & over lol, the editing, photography & acting skills are full on point here!
Ah, yes! Mosquito season... so bittersweet!
Wonderful lyrics, music, voices, video!
Very symbolic lyrics: nothing better than the Seasons of the year to represent the various emotional moments that are part of this life! Loved the video concept! 👋👋👋🙏💐🌞🍁⛄
This song and music video are such a nice mix of joy and comfort

When it was still warm up here in the north :)
Embrace your inner Inuit.
Looking at the snow outside, I wish it was mosquito season again.
If anyone wanted to know what summer in Northern Michigan is like...
