All the Canadian teams have a legit shot this year to do damage it’s gonna be fun, wouldn’t mind an all Canadian matchup either, NHL headquarters would be in shambles if that happened 🤣
Solid vid! I’d say Canucks in 5/6, might be a bit of bias but Nashville looked absolutely gassed there at the end just making the playoffs. 16-0-2 run was followed by pretty garbage hockey and I think JT Miller is built for the playoffs as is Petey & Hughes should take his game to another level as well & Demko had some nice rest there whereas Saros was just overworked but will be a fun series!
Vancouver destroyed Nashville in the regular season, and while you could argue Nashville is deeper, Vancouver beats them in offense, defense, goaltending, and coaching. By far Vancouver's biggest weakness is their lack of experience with their team. But I'm still going with Canucks in 5 or 6
Do you know if Demko is healthy? I thought I heard he sustained some injury recently. If he’s healthy I’m definitely picking the Canucks in my bracket.
The same Nasville team that couldnt beat Boston, NYI, Winnipeg, or Pitt in April are gonna upset the Canucks? Nah. Canucks have more motivation to win in round 1 but will fizzle out in round 2 imo.
I disagree. Vancouver has been doing nothing but playing playoff style hockey the last couple months but sure Nashville is much more suited to the playoffs. It feels like there's a lot of takes from people who don't watch the Canucks whatsoever.
Saros has not been great this year and you think he can stop Vancouvers firepower? Vancouver forecheck hard, roles four lines, has a better D core, and a better goalie. Unless Saros becomes Rinne, they don't stand a chance.
Saros absolutely has a chance to play out of his mind in the playoffs, we have seen it. Canucks has a ton of firepower but you got Demko just coming back from an injury, Petterson has been mediocre since the all star break, Lindholm has been below average, also this Canucks team has not played a playoff game with this core (COVID year doesnt count due to teams off for 2 months and no people in stands).
Vancouver is gonna have more things to worry about than unleashing their firepower. This is a team with zero collective playoff experience. First round exit, is practically a given. Only way Vancouver would make it out of the first round, would be if they somehow played the league's biggest chokers, in Toronto.

ok im deff a bit biased but as someone who has watched practically every rangers game this season, i believe that we have the potential to win the cup. i know the series against the caps has already started and i have been able to see how every team plays (the series is 3-0 nyr atm) but this is what i have been believing since the bracket was filled. i also watched some games from all the other teams in the playoffs, and watched the nyr play them as well, we have that chance. panarin, kreider, and trocheck are probably the best fowards in my opinion and can rlly push thru - both offensively an defensively. the way schneider and miller are able to work together with each other is incredible. shesterkin's goaltending is something so impressive and can really be the star of the playoffs for the nyr. from what i have been seeing these past 3 games against the caps, i think that the nyr will sweep them and since because the caps have been playing playoff hockey for like a month prior to the actual playoffs, they are now tired and it seems like they have almost given up - which now makes these games against them feel like its a warm up for whats ahead and it can be an advantage. also the canes and isles games will now have to go to at least 5 games and can possibly drag out a bit longer so the canes (or isles somehow) will be a little tired when the nyr play them if they sweep the caps. i also cant rlly talk abt the rangers without matt rempe but i think he has been incredible for the team. last night (4/26/24) tom wilson tried to get rempe fired up and to drop the gloves but we learned he can have that willpower when it may be needed which is a really important thing. he also brings up the energy of the rangers entirely and brings intimation to the ice. laviolette is also an incredible coach and has brought so many teams to the playoffs and has been a huge help to the team. i can see history repeating itself completely from 30 years ago, and i can see the rangers breaking the presidents trophy curse. this team has been striving for 30 year for this and i really do believe that they have that chance this post-season. i apologize for yapping about the rangers i literally have pissed off all of my friends bc of this lol (i wrote more here than i have for school like ever)
I have western conference F as Edm/Wpg and eastern conference F as Fla/Car and for the SC F I have Wpg/Fla. These are the top 2 defences in the league. So if this is the case just for fun who gets home ice between these 2 teams?
Bruins are gonna be scary in the first round, as memories of FLA last year, are still ringing in their heads no doubt. They already have Toronto's number, but this year, I think it's absolutely hopeless for a laser focused Bruins squad in the first round.

Colorado over Jets, Hellebuyck tends to choke in the Playoffs. Dallas is the real threat in the West so I’m going Edmonton vs Stars Conference finals. Dallas vs Canes for the finals, with Canes winning.
Time for this bracket to go completely wrong. For the western conference at least. Lots of 3-1 series tomorrow and most of them probably winning the series. With how the Colorado vs Winnipeg series is going, its hard to see Winnipeg making the comeback from 3-1. 😢
I could see tampa going on an underdog run this year there offense is really good and if vasilevsky is on his game they could upset some teams I also think the addition of duclair will be huge
Colorado is not the favorite we are the underdog. People are talking about winnipeg i hope my team proves everyone wrong again. Yall said that in 2022 and guess what happened we became the champs that year.
I’ve predicted the last two winners correct but this year I have no clue but oilers have a pretty easy run so they shouldn’t be tired so ima go win Edmonton
Alright. I’m gonna put in my two cents. And that’s really all it’s worth- but I believe that the preds have a solid chance against the canucks. But what I don’t agree with is them losing to edmonton when they smashed them prior to the windup to the playoffs. Really looking at it- as you said. They are going into the playoffs arguably with one of the strongest teams. And while they may not be stacked with fucking superstars and household names, they are too well rounded to afford another run like the last. I think a lot of people will be upset this year. But I don’t think Predators fans are one of them. I think they can expect something at least great.
Dallas v vegas - Dallas Winnipeg v colorado - colorado Vancouver v Nashville - Nashville Edmonton v los angles - Los Angeles Florida v Tampa bay - Florida Boston vs Toronto - Boston New York v capitals - rangers Carolina vs NYI - Carolina
defense goaltending clutch players, carilina boston and washinton have these, winnipeg nashville dallas in the west. all six advance to second round, could see isles and caps in second round with the combined 400 goal differential which btw does not matter, i remember one president trophy team was number one in offense and number 2 in defense and lost in first round , they missed clutch players .nhl playoffs are the best, florida looks very good and so does dallas imo but it could be vegas rangers (hope its not the rangers) step up player pick for 1st round is caps max paciorety
Well, I think Oilers will beat Vancouver and then Dallas. Rangers will beat Carolina and Boston. So Edmonton vs NY. A shame because I'd like to see Vancouver come through and win the cup.
Except for Vancouver, I have the exact same brackets in the west, although I have the Jets winning it all over the Rangers. I also have upset central planted firmly in Toronto, who will overcome not one, not two, but THREE demons this year, being 1) Boston, 2) Game 7 and 3) Florida in the second round. Colorado is not the favorite we are the underdog. People are talking about winnipeg i hope my team proves everyone wrong again. Yall said that in 2022 and guess what happened we became the champs that year.
I had the stars vs the canes in the finals
i think the dallas vs jets game could go either way so i agree with ur pick to have the jets going to the final good pick
Kings vs Rangers rematch in finals
Igor injured and quick comes in for the series
@@CalebBoissoneaubruh don’t even say that
@@CalebBoissoneau that would be an epic series.
Dallas v vegas - Dallas
Winnipeg v colorado - colorado
Vancouver v Nashville - Nashville
Edmonton v los angles - Los Angeles
Florida v Tampa bay - Florida
Boston vs Toronto - Boston
New York v capitals - rangers
Carolina vs NYI - Carolina
Bonjour j'ai presque les mêmes choix mais je choisis Dallas contre Caroline en Finale. Dallas pour la Coupe.
everyone saying dallas and jets have some serious problem. Just one of the last matches vegas came back in the third against colorado cmon...
Bruins v Chanuks Stanley rematch of 2011
Colorado beats Winnipeg. Vancouver beats Nashville. Tampa beats Florida. Leafs gone in 4 this year. Colorado vs NYR finals.
defense goaltending clutch players, carilina boston and washinton have these, winnipeg nashville dallas in the west. all six advance to second round, could see isles and caps in second round with the combined 400 goal differential which btw does not matter, i remember one president trophy team was number one in offense and number 2 in defense and lost in first round , they missed clutch players .nhl playoffs are the best, florida looks very good and so does dallas imo but it could be vegas rangers (hope its not the rangers) step up player pick for 1st round is caps max paciorety
😂😂😂😂 Nashville can't beat demko. Canuck in 5 games
Bro went 1/4 in the west lmao
This is literally my bracket. Except I have Jets winning cup over Canes
NHL playoffs with no upsets? Nah, can't be. I say Vegas is gonna take care of Dallas.
When myself and a lot of others are picking the Cane's will all watch it go horribly wrong and see the Isle play the Caps next round 😂🤢🙃
Wings and Cats fan. Panthers won me over last year around game 72. Love their play style and hope they get to hoist lord Stanley. Go Cats!
ur prolly right
Not a bad bracket, though I think Nashville over Vancouver is quite the upset prediction
As an extremely salty devils fan, I’ve got caps in 5 round 1.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro I am literally Sidney crosby
No
Well, I think Oilers will beat Vancouver and then Dallas. Rangers will beat Carolina and Boston. So Edmonton vs NY. A shame because I'd like to see Vancouver come through and win the cup.
Demko is going to make you eat your words
Or nah lmao
Silovs though
@@ajbolt7 I was close...
Islanders/ Vegas final. Islanders win in 7. 2nd overtime period
As a Carolina Hurricanes fan I hope you are correct
I think he is looking through a foggy glass.
🌀🚂 CANE TRAIN BABY CHUGACHUGACHUGACHUGA CHOO CHOO
why is my bracket almost identical to yours other than Tampa beating Florida its identical
Bro you underrated demko and hughes, then slept on the Nucks. Then you do it AGAIN. LOL ur a joke
well, I'll be happy for Burns
carolina winnipeg would be the worst, most boring possible final so i hope this doesnt happen.
Close but wrong about Nashville beating Vancouver
I also picked nashville to win and to make the WCF but i picked tampa to go to the ECF
They'll be GASSED after that and won't make it out of the east.
I don't think the Jets have enough offense to go all the way
No prize? I thought you gave out a jersey last year?
You are making the same mistake from last year on picking Boston beating Florida from last year
