This was a lot of fun to watch, especially when Tom tried to guess the games and was right every time. Shows how much they know each behind the scenes 🎲☝🏽😁
I caught the original live stream of Mike, Roy, & Zee doing this and was pretty amused but just couldn't wait to see Tom react to it. I missed THIS live stream but just now watched it all the way through and it was everything I hoped it would be. Tears in my eyes from laughing. This was solid gold. Thank you Tom, Mike, Roy, and Zee.
I would have died if Tom had said, “We are now accepting applications to the Dice Tower.” 😉 Great tongue in cheek reaction vid! Knowing everyone’s personalities made it even funnier. 🙌🏼
If anyone ever says “Brant, why do you like Dice Tower so much?” I might just put this video on. You 4 are fantastic for so many reasons and from the top of the video Tom’s reactions were fantastic. Best of which was saying Roy did the Healy method.
I would love to see these types of videos for each of the dice tower cast. Seeing both sides of the coin in terms of opinion on a game give way for livelier discussion.
This is hands down the best single piece of video Dice tower has ever produced. The top 10 from the guys was awesome, but reacting to an awesome top 10 just made it even more.... awesome. Would love to see this with all 4 of them in the position of being told that they are wrong!
I can't imagine another react video unless they start doing an "X is wrong" series, but if you do I'd suggest lowering the volume of the original video so it isn't confusing when you talk over it. Aside from that, I liked the pauses and fast forwards to get to your points.
I like the volume leveling, personally. I don’t think I’d be able to hear it enough otherwise. This makes me feel like I’m watching one complete video rather than just Tom’s video
If they do keep this format, then I'd prefer a lot more pausing so Tom, or whomever is doing the reaction, can get his or her point across with have to talk over the video. There were parts where Tom was objecting and I have no idea what anyone said. I'd also prefer a "scripted" reaction rather than a hot take; like Tom watches the video beforehand so he can prepare his rejections and argue his point rather than just saying, "No. Don't agree. That's wrong."
The thing that annoys me with the argument, is that the gif creator is the one who started it. That argument did not exist, and one day they decided "I'm annoyed that no one uses the witty name I came up with" and did the biggest 'I need to correct everyone on the internet' ever. If you wanted people to call it jiff, then make the extension .jif; I can't make a product called a hat, and then get upset when no one pronounces it "hot".
Coming back here to note that Zee calls out Tom for not liking Menara and today Tom called out Zee for liking Menara. These two have probably given that game more press than it's ever gotten LOL
Tom’s statement saying “one component should make him like a game better“ I bet if it had gametrayz he would like it better due to him being a fanboy of them
I was thinking 6/10 or so for Arkham Horror LCG was really wrong, but if you base it just on the box set, I'd go "well, that's not entirely terrible rating, cause the core boxset does lack a bit." But, on the whole? Arkham Horror LCG is amazing.
Tom, I picked up Masmorra primarily for the figures to use with Arcadia Quest. I wasn't really wow'd playing Masmorra as is but (since we've been stuck inside without my normal gaming group) I came up with a modification, more or less playing actual AQ with the dungeon tiles
I don’t know what was funnier, the original list or Tom’s reaction to it. This was really entertaining. Thanks for this and more stuff like this would be welcome. A crossover with The Secret Cabal would be a blast.
This was a lot of fun, and I appreciate the dry humor of Tom playing the belligerent boss who doesn't want to deal with his underlings. The fact that some thought Tom was actually upset at points shows that it landed right, I think. Especially in the end when Tom basically laughs and says "nah, it's great we have different opinions, this was just some fun." It might have felt a bit more awkward if he roleplayed the upset was all the way through.
Sentinels is: do what it says on the card; forget that a dozen+ counters and effects change what the card does; go back two or three turns to correct the oversight until you finally just give up and say good enough; repeat. It's fluxx's rule jockeying tedium, but without being tongue-in-cheek about it.
I’ve been watching Tom’s reviews for 12 years now. Didn’t realize it had been that long, dude hasn’t aged a day. But his kids... dang, Melody grew up FAST. And now my daughters are, too...
Tom, I gotta say that I really like Mysterium overall and it looks Fantastic on the table ... but I have a friend who refuses to play it because he says that it’s dumb because the first 3/4 of the the game is irrelevantly building up to an endgame guess of the final choice. He points out that the theme doesn’t hold up since all but one clairvoyant interpretations are correct and therefore the others must be charlatans because of their permissions were of wrong people using wrong things in wrong places. You know... I still like this game, but he has a point. 🤷♂️
yeah, I didn't get that criticism... I assume its because unlike Legendary and Realms it has one currency (power) and not two. I personally prefer that simpistic and I didn't think Cryptozoic encouraged mixing. Its like Funkoverse where you can have the Golden girls beat up batman
Looking at the box for dominant species definitely reels me in, components not so much. But it’s not just components that make a game, the theme definitely looks interesting. If I found it at the library I’d definitely try it out.
On the underground does look complicated, this is a game I’d have to have the physical copy and be watching a video to probably understand it. If I see it the library I’ll check it out.
This was fun to watch! Tom, wrong again (somewhat). Quadratic equation comments at 44:28...Tom says Ax^2+Bx+C=0, is not the quadratic equation. It is a 2nd degree polynomial expressed in standard form, which when you complete the square, can DERIVE the quadratic equation.... :-) Thanks for the fun time all! Merry Christmas!
Totally agree with Tom about On The Underground. It’s very strategic not only where to place a piece but on choosing to continue one color or start another, and you can’t find the best route in a few moments, that’s your problem, not the game’s.
Rahdo said in the chat that Tom is so very very wrong so very often.Rahdo thinks the two-player variant in 7 Wonders is better than 7 Wonders Duel. Rahdo thinks Mansions of Madness First Edition is better than the Second Edition. Come on man... lol
I commented on the previous video that it felt like Roy may have only played the first edition of Sentinels, before they introduced damage scaling with the number of heroes. If the villains are dealing a flat amount of damage instead of it being based on the number of heroes, I can see it feeling best with a specific number of heroes.
one of the best burns here is 'Zee gets often accused of picking esoteric games that no one has ever heard of and he is even doing it in this one'. Also: he gave away a 10/10 game... weird...
Dominant Species is 1 amongst 3 of my only 10/10 games and I've rated over 500 games. Such a good game, Roy fails so hard. One of the few area control games I actually prefer without miniatures. (The other two 10/10 games are Twilight Imperium 4e and Kingdom Death: Monsters in case you were wondering)
I do think it’s gif with a hard g, Jiff is another format that doesn’t animate and as someone who’s been working with such formats probably longer than Roy’s been in long trousers (does he wear long trousers?) when Roy said Jif it jumped out at me. But I wasn’t going to make a fuss over it, except now with Tom’s reaction I am. But I still agree with the who cares sentiment. Kudos to Roy for making an animated gif, it’s definitely ‘G’if tho.
I played On the Underground. On a good day with a good game maybe a 7 but it's more like a 5.5. I sold it at out of print inflation prices haha. Other train games are funner. this one I really tried to like but there's so little of a sense of direction it didn't jive with me.
19:00 No, YOU'RE wrong about that one. Sentinels is fantastic. The "exactly 4 players" thing is bullshit. In the first edition, sure, but ever since the FIRST EXPANSION the game scales with the number of players.
Was waiting for this video!! One of Dice Tower the videos I have had most fun watching. Glad Tom took it in stride. Melody is entering college already???? has it been that long since I started watching Dice Tower????
Sir, a Kick card costs THREE punches! I’d probably only give DC deck builder game a six, but I can’t name a single other game that allows me to play Saint Walker, White Lantern Man, and Felicity Smoak.
Haha, great work dice tower dudes! Tom, love your reviews and that you're gutsy enough to rate below 6 sometimes (although I'd like to see a "8 for wargame fans, 4 for everybody else" type ratings).
This was a lot of fun to watch, especially when Tom tried to guess the games and was right every time. Shows how much they know each behind the scenes 🎲☝🏽😁

Thank you Tom, Mike, Roy, and Zee.
These two videos were so fun to watch. I could feel the love you guys have for each other
Q: Has Dice Tower done a
"top ten games we regretted selling/giving-away " ?
Might be an idea of haven't done.
I would have died if Tom had said, “We are now accepting applications to the Dice Tower.” 😉 Great tongue in cheek reaction vid! Knowing everyone’s personalities made it even funnier. 🙌🏼
YES! This is the video I've been waiting all week for... "Roy Healey" hahaha
If anyone ever says “Brant, why do you like Dice Tower so much?” I might just put this video on. You 4 are fantastic for so many reasons and from the top of the video Tom’s reactions were fantastic. Best of which was saying Roy did the Healy method.
crazy I thought his reactions were lame
Can we get Sam to do a reaction to Tom's reaction? Just for old times sake.
I would love to see these types of videos for each of the dice tower cast. Seeing both sides of the coin in terms of opinion on a game give way for livelier discussion.
This is hands down the best single piece of video Dice tower has ever produced.
The top 10 from the guys was awesome, but reacting to an awesome top 10 just made it even more.... awesome.

Have to agree its quite garbled in places, should have dropped the original audio by ~20%
@@saveversus yeah, scripted videos are always better.
We need a "Zee is wrong" list!
Agreed!
Yes!
Can't be done!
Plot twist: Zee is wrong video WITH Zee in it! Hot take reactions. Lol
"Sam plays on the flip side." I see what you did there;)
This needs to be an annual series.
"Now I don't play it due to respect to the cathedral itself" 43:09
Lol that dry humour moment just cracked me up.
"I'm gonna sort all this money out and Mike will still be talking." 😄
Oh my god I can't believe I never knew it was pronounced "jpheg." I need to correct everyone on the internet right away. Thanks Tom!
The thing that annoys me with the argument, is that the gif creator is the one who started it. That argument did not exist, and one day they decided "I'm annoyed that no one uses the witty name I came up with" and did the biggest 'I need to correct everyone on the internet' ever. Tom was taking shots.. love it.
this top ten was funny enough to watch again
We need a video where the 4 of them get together and talk about this!
Spicy Tom is so entertaining
This video is the most funny thing that I had ever see in Dice tower XD!
Great video, and loved the intro, Tom. Hoping to see you do a review of Gatefall I see there behind you.
OMG, this is Tom in his BEST comedy act ever! Loved it
Coming back here to note that Zee calls out Tom for not liking Menara and today Tom called out Zee for liking Menara. These two have probably given that game more press than it's ever gotten LOL

Thanks so much for this! I’m having a pretty rough day and this really made me smile so I super appreciate this and all you do!
Ironic how Tom is complaining that other people talk a lot... ;-)
Lol the amazing amount of shade in this video is delightful.
3:40
Finally someone gets it.
Same reason Laser isn't pronounced "lah-seer," and Scuba isn't pronounced "Scub-aa"
Tom should count how many times Roy and Mike use the word "amazing" to describe a game in this video.
Agree on the important things. Everything else doesn't matter. Love this! And you guys have so much fun and bring so much laughter!
Tom, I picked up Masmorra primarily for the figures to use with Arcadia Quest. I wasn't really wow'd playing Masmorra as is but (since we've been stuck inside without my normal gaming group) I came up with a modification, more or less playing actual AQ with the dungeon tiles

This is such a hilarious video - love it. I watched the first one, but this reaction video is one of the best yet!
Great video gents and awesome reactions Tom. I had a lot of fun watching this one!
i love it.... "NO one would rather stare at wall then play any of these game..."
I actually think Tom was Right on MOST of these games. He SHOULD play AH-LCG a few more times though. That game is very good.
Tom needs to do a top 10 games these 3 jokers don't appriciate.
Isn't that what this is?
@@thetiger51 No, Tom needs to do a top 10 that that they are all wrong about.
This was a lot of fun, and I appreciate the dry humor of Tom playing the belligerent boss who doesn't want to deal with his underlings. Roy taught me Wizwar and it was a seriously fun game. Although Roy has essentially 3d printed cool walls and terrain for the game.
I'm looking forward to the Freedom Five live play more than Christmas this year. 😁
Wait, two adult kids?? How old is Tom? He doesn't look old enough to have two grown kids!
I’ve been watching Tom’s reviews for 12 years now. Didn’t realize it had been that long, dude hasn’t aged a day. But his kids... dang, Melody grew up FAST. And now my daughters are, too...

Now the guys need to react to Tom reacting to them.
Tom is always right and when he is wrong, he's still right to be wrong =)
Those in glass towers #Jamaica! Fun stuff, guys!
DC deck builder and Marvel legendary both buy attacks with attacks
yeah, I didn't get that criticism... I assume its because unlike Legendary and Realms it has one currency (power) and not two. I personally prefer that simpistic and I didn't think Cryptozoic encouraged mixing. Its like Funkoverse where you can have the Golden girls beat up batman

Terrific... Fantastic... Even if you looked a bit too serious, Tom. You have all different tastes... Hurra for that! Love you, guys... really :-)
On the underground does look complicated, this is a game I’d have to have the physical copy and be watching a video to probably understand it. If I see it the library I’ll check it out.

Nice correction Tom. I commented prior to hearing you correct yourself - excellent.
Hey, mathy math math!
Totally agree with Tom about On The Underground. It’s very strategic not only where to place a piece but on choosing to continue one color or start another, and you can’t find the best route in a few moments, that’s your problem, not the game’s.
And I totally agree with Zee on Jamaica: the Crew. Tom is wrong!
I hope that "Zee is wrong about" list is coming real soon
That will be a very long video...
Zee is never wrong
Rahdo said in the chat that Tom is so very very wrong so very often.Rahdo thinks the two-player variant in 7 Wonders is better than 7 Wonders Duel.
Rahdo thinks Mansions of Madness First Edition is better than the Second Edition.
Come on man... lol
He even took a shot at Rodney! Man, that was funny :P

Lmao, “ Mike, nobody cares when you played it”
Love this! Keep them coming. Zee, Mr. Jack is cool! Go Zee!
Blue Moon Ciy? You mean Blue Moon. Blue Moon City was to one you like quite a lot, if I remember correctly?
Is Blue Moon being confused with Blue Moon City? Knizia did both and are different games.
one of the best burns here is 'Zee gets often accused of picking esoteric games that no one has ever heard of and he is even doing it in this one'. Also: he gave away a 10/10 game... weird...
I am happy Tom could take it well. It was fun.
My wife and gaming partner passed away today at 39 years old. This made me smile.
sorry for you loss.
So sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss
I have NEVER heard it pronounced "jiff" before and I'm a veteran supporter and administrator for plus 25 years. Roy as to get his act together.
Glad I waited to watch this :D Very entertaining
Tom is wrong. 8 is far too low for Dominant Species. My only 10 rated game.
This was super fun!!! hopefully more in the future!
Love the color of the shirt, and the very cool tie.
I didn't understand the jif part.
What does jif mean? Can't find it anywhere, my english is not that great sry ;/
i think someones view of a game has a lot to do with how well they do in the first playthrough and weather they feel the victory conditions are fair.
You know what I’m surprised I thought those guys don’t like dominion, but yet none of them were brave enough to put it into their top ten.
Agreed with several other comments. This was very entertaining. 🤣
Please DO NOT CHANGE THE TITLE CARDS, am I right? I''m definitely shouting!!!
Tom's reaction just confirms his wrongness. 😂
Epic card game is great! Dark draft is so fun! (Also NOT a deckbuilder!)
Tom is so funny in this video! "We should probably skip Mike again..." ROFL!
Tom you are a class act. Thank you for humoring all of us in the dice tower fan club by doing this video. You are the best!
At the Gates of Loyang is in my Top 5, right above Agricola. The best Rosenberg farming game there is!
Phase 10 is one my most despised games.
I hit thumbs up as soon as I saw the video title. :)
I do think it’s gif with a hard g, Jiff is another format that doesn’t animate and as someone who’s been working with such formats probably longer than Roy’s been in long trousers (does he wear long trousers?) when Roy said Jif it jumped out at me. Zee is wrong about:
Spirit Island
Tides of Time
Tides of Madness
I thought it would be Tom looking sad for an hour
Don't change the number animation - it's perfect!
"It's who you play with. Is it all by yourself?"
My new favorite Dice Tower video
An awesome pair of videos - do one for where Zee is wrong!
Oh by the way City of Kings is great! - Tom - You are WRONG!
Did Zee do his number 1? I know it’s blue moon but I’m sure they missed it off
19:00
No, YOU'RE wrong about that one. Sentinels is fantastic.
The "exactly 4 players" thing is bullshit. In the first edition, sure, but ever since the FIRST EXPANSION the game scales with the number of players.
Im with you on Mr Jack Tom .... played this, no idea what the fuss is about?
Was waiting for this video!! One of Dice Tower the videos I have had most fun watching. Glad Tom took it in stride.
Melody is entering college already???? has it been that long since I started watching Dice Tower????
Melody's been in college a couple years, it's his 2nd daughter that's just starting it.

LOVED this video Tom!
This is a terrific reaction video. So glad Tom did this.
Good job Roy ☝🏽
