    Love Blue Moon! I’m grateful to Zee for recommending it so many times. I got the tarot card version. Definitely the better card size.

    In regards to the trivia question about the PSP, Zee had mentioned the weird CD format. One thing I'd like to add to his comment is that the games on PSP did fairly well, however one reason the PSP didn't do as well as it should have is due to Sony using a proprietary video format they called UMD. The problem was it forced people to re-buy a movie they may have already had only to be able to watch it on the PSP.

    • @KabukiKid
      @KabukiKid 6 месяцев назад

      The PSP actually ended up being a pretty good success for Sony... it sold over 80 million units by the end of its run, so it was far from a dud.... the DS just sold almost twice as much. For me, I'll take a PSP over a DS... I just prefer the games the PSP offered. Oh... and if you modded your PSP, it would run tons of fun homebrew stuff and emulators. The PS Vita eventually came along and can run all of the PSP software, otherwise, I'd still keep a PSP with me. Great little system. Now as for those UMD movies... that was folly. ;-) I do own Green Day's Bullet in a Bible on UMD, though. lol (Someone gave it to me as a gift because they knew I loved Green Day.)
      EDIT: Oh! And a third PS handheld is in the works right now... with the rumor that it will run PS4 games. Count me in!

    Yeah, I've heard a lot about how World of Warcraft is dying, but apparently (per a site called "MMO Stats") it is still the most popular traditional MMORPG by a long shot, being 4 times as popular as its closest competitors. Final Fantasy XIV is apparently #2 and Guild Wars 2 and RuneScape being very close behind at 3 and 4 respectively.

    It is crazy to see the games that came out 20 years ago. I feel your pain Tom and Zee when thinking of the 80's and then remembering how long ago it was. For 2004 games, I don't have a lot of games played, but here are my top 5.
    5 - Star Wars Miniatures
    4 - Betrayal at House on the Hill
    3 - Ticket to Ride
    2 - Memoir '44
    1 - Heroscape (This is the game that got me really into the hobby)

      My number one game of 2004 and it's not even close. The auction for that game still hasn't been beaten yet and the level your stuff up is still popular today.
      The theme is generic but it's about the same as San Juan.

    There are some similarities to King Up! And Lifeboats. In Lifeboats you collectively move boats with multiple players pieces in them toward islands and along the way leaks spring, people move boats and ultimately you have 3 Captain hats that count as tiebreakers, unless someone else uses one and they cancel each other instead. So some of the same feelings in both games but different modes of play. Probably need to track down a copy.
