Love Sherry, her attitude, personality, and very hardworking. Love how she is very eager to learn and improve her skills constantly. The type of employee that all employees should strive to be like.
I use to watch this show all the time .. I remember when Mike Jr & Sherry first came on the show ... As young kids
Ohh, her eyes lit up when dad said you wanna make Carl jealous? Oh, yeah, was the reply. YOU like that dont you, yeah I do. Thats dedication and pride in her work. Good on her, like father, like daughter.
I loved seeing those wedges she used. After years of setting tile professionally, I wish they'd been invented when I was in the trade!
Somebody from the trade probably invented it. You know how it is when you worked for so many years, you come up with a clever idea. And in this case, the idea worked.
you can tell mike is so proud of sherry and i would too.....shes a sweetheart!!!!!
Sherry is gorgeous
Good for Sherry! Nice job!
Loved the show
Oh my gosh! I love this!
Probably the best tile floor i cn in my life
I use to watch you All the time. 🍻 Been a minute.
So I love the New Way of leveling the Tiles, so there Smooth against Each Other, How do take them out.
Nice job!
I so want those spacers! That would have made tiling my kitchen so much easier than with the leveler! ;)
Good job Mike
whats the name of that wedge system? Where can I find it?
I am so glad that they are Back-Buttering the this particular tile.It is VERY important to get thin set coverage on the backs of the tile to help to achieve as close to 100% as possible. I do know of a tool that helps to cut down on body fatigue as well as fully supports the tiles when back-buttering. It's called the Back-Butter Buddy
You obviously missed the fact that they are not bedding the tiles hardly at ALL. They actually have full coverage of thinset on the skim when they backbutter BUT, without bedding the tile down, they only achieve ACTUALLY 60-70% support of the tile.
How do you remove those spacers that the wedges go through? They look like they go under the tiles. Do you break off the top part and the rest of it stays there?
Yes
Not pressing the tiles after laying? :o
Good job Mike Holmes 👌 from Josh
Will the wooden floor not crack the tiles if it expands?
itsurman The underlayment prevents that.
Why do I see a piece of tape on a lot of the thin set mixing bits used in the drill? I see this often in home improvement.
?? Thinking that's the brand sticker when it's on the shelf and heaps of lazy people can't be bothered to remove the label.
@@trooperandcooperale3057 Some of it looked like blue or green masking/painter's tape, though.
@@Guillotines_For_Globalists or different brands
@@trooperandcooperale3057 Dunno. Still does not look like a price tag to me.
I happen to ran into a plaster on the weekend... it's there to stop the mix going any further up the paddle and continuing into the drill.
Dude!!!
Super wow
Kick ass
Aren't the Holmes all about "Safety First"?? She wasn't wearing a dust mask when she was mixing the mud
those can crack easy using that system specially with those long tiles :(
I agree, I just take the time to pit some more mud where needed to raise to where they need to be, too many empty voids their way.
His Daughter
I cut the cable. Free Tv. Antenna 😜
Sherry reminds me a lot of Mike....it's sort of like Mike is Sherry.....interesting....
who was the other cutie ??
That would be “Pinky”
Man, at 1:33 I forgot my own name for a few seconds. :P
Man ain't THAT the truth. Bouncy bouncy! ;-)
i didnt like the finished job @6.23 tbh
Holmes don't need a helmets.
Sherry...🔥🔥🔥hot, hot, hot!!!
No protection from the dust when mixing the thin set, you might as well be a smoker.😷
Mixed outside with plenty of ventilation are you sure you are are not the one smoking something...
mike. earrings are for women? whats going on!
A man can wear them if he's big enough to kick someone's behind for teasing him. Otherwise, I don't recommend it. I saw Mr. T. wear a pink shirt. Similar rule of thumb.
