Anyway, I get tons of requests to film Mark VII machines, so naturally I was thrilled when Patrick and I accidentally stumbled on one at a Phillips 66 station outside of Kirkwood, MO. The manager at this location was absolutely wonderful. She felt so badly that I didn't have the right change to buy a wash at the machine (and then wasn't given the option to buy one at a gas pump) that she gave me the top wash for free. Talk about generous! Overall, I was extremely happy with my visit and would highly recommend this gas station.

UPDATE: This system has been ripped out and was converted into a Sonny’s mini tunnel. You might want to check it out.
Great video and nice wash!! The operator must take good care of it as it has many upgrade features on the system via e-chain and non oscillating top blaster. Also another thing making this wash special is that it does a very rare 2 coating pass of presoak. Very rare on mark 7s as they are designed to use more chemistry/soap in one pass resulting in quicker washes.. Great video!!
That's because this is a different model. This is a GTO-700.
I was looking at this car wash on google maps and they completely remodeled it. Can you please do a revisit.

Back when I was 4 I used to have HUGE obsessions with car washes (I am autistic which might be the explanation). Got me into trouble sometimes (And my dad). Post a reply if you have or had an obsession with car washes as well.

Yes, I did when I was 5 and I still do now!
The machine pumps air through all the water sprayers to make sure theres no water in them that can leak out and drip on the vehicle that is being dried.

I'll admit, I prefer the MarkVll in general, they are touchless other than the wheel scrubs and seem to do a decent job. When they are new or just serviced, everything works nicely. But I watched several of your videos and its interesting to see the designs of an automated car wash out there. The Malfunction car wash was comical.

I remember a sheetz we used to stop at all the time near a Church we went to had this car wash expect In blue. Amazing car wash! And I love the way the dryers start up! It's gone now and there's a crappy laserwash that is always not working.

Do they still make these GTO GT the GT has three nozzles things and the GTO has a straight boom with presoak and high pressure on the Same thing and are they still making these but could you do a revisit please it did a good job and the pay station was laserlink

There's a car wash at the Waterway Gas and Wash on MO 366 and Creighton drive in Shrewsbury MO.
It's part of a BP Gas Station and it's called "Waterway Car Wash" on Watson Road.

This system is at almost all of the car washes in my area...
These things aren't exactly rare, but for some reason I don't come across them very often at all. There's also the possibility that most of the car washes around you are owned by the same person/company. For example, in Jefferson City I know of 2 owners who operate 3 car washes each. In both cases, all 3 have the exact same system.

It's not uncommon to find Dryers on at the same time as a rinse. I've seen it on LaserWash 360 here in New Zealand.

Happens here in South Australia on the WashWorld Lazer wash systems.
This is actually not a flash dry. The reason the water was spraying on this machine was to clear the lines of water so it wouldn't drip on the car while drying.
I got one awhile ago. They are a good system, if programmed right.

Cleaning quality wise- yes- but uptime wise, no. These things are very over engineered, and have a lot of downtime, much like the PDQ LaserWash G5 & G5-S

The dryer on the one I found is terrible. Goes at normal speed, so the car is wet after it's done.
Exactly, I don't know why Mark VII made that the default dryer speed...
