- Tried a new rendering technique with this video. In 1080p, the footage from my dash camera should be in 60 fps. In other words, it should look nice and smooth. As for the car wash, this was an excellent (and apparently brand new) Ryko Softgloss Maxx. Between my reaction to cheap gas and riding lawn mower man, this video had me laughing as I was editing it.
Update: Thanks to a little Google StreetView searching by Car Wash Studios, we now know that there was a Mark VII Merchandiser here before the Ryko Equipment was installed. I must have just missed it.

Well... that sucks. The Merchandiser is toward the top of the list of systems I really want to find. Though if they were willing to spend tons of $$ to replace it, I'd imagine it was in pretty rough shape anyway.
Just looked myself. I really did just miss the old one. It was there as of September 2013. Too bad I missed it. It would have been cool to get a before/after video.

UPDATE: This was replaced with a PDQ LaserWash 360+. The Ryko pay station was also replaced with a PDQ pay station, but the Tech 21 dryers are still there.

Not only did the outside of the bay say that it is a touchless wash, but why aren't the brushes dark green and yellow?
TheRUclipsr254, I have seen at BP stations, they can have a red brush pattern. I think I saw that it had those patterns.

Brendan Cherry At my BP Gas Station in Clinton NC we have had a Ryko Select-A-Wash and now a Ryko Softgloss Maxx with the Red and Boue brushes just like this one. But the wash options are $6,$8,&$10

Ahh yes, the good 'ol Enteract coinbox. I don't like the fact that the fascia cover has no red/green lights that make it easier for customers to see that the wash is ready. The front arm lights are in the wrong order, the green lights should be at the very end of the arm so they easier to see. Those boom lines look terrible and need to be completely re-worked. The tri-color detergent was too spotty and uneven, it didn't even get colorful until it got to the back of the car. Check the chemical pumps, replace all of the chemical check valves and foot valves. Or better yet, get rid of the old chemical feed pump system and install the new chemical injector panel. And it seems like it's moving too fast, I would adjust the wash speeds to slow it down a little bit, especially during the soap and rinse cycles for better soap coverage and rinsing. And get rid of those damn floor treadles and tire stops and install a virtual treadle photoeye retrokit. That way people aren't having to hit the gas pedal and potentially have an accident with the machine or the building when they're just trying to leave, it's all about safety! Other than that it looks to be in good working order. It could be a lot better after a thorough preventative maintenance visit.

This is a newer Ryko Softgloss Maxx because it has the useless and annoying buzzer.
The dryers are by McNeil from the looks of them and ryko gets most there crap from McNeil
Actually no, Ryko doesn't get most of their "crap" from MacNeil. In fact MacNeil was a competitor of Ryko until just a couple years ago when Ryko aquired (bought) MacNeil and merged. So I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from.

also i went through a older version of that system the thing was in horrible shape and left soap on my car it did a good job accept where my top tail light is but i assume that is because i drive a hatchback

ya that is a good question i assume that sign is just a generic Sign by Ryko for there touchless systems as well as brush systems but who knows
