Ryko Softgloss Maxx Car Wash at Phillips 66 (Nov. 2012 Revisit)

Note: This is in Jefferson City, MO. I ran out of room in the title.
For the first time ever, I take the passenger seat during this car wash video. We're riding in my friend Alex's Nissan 350z, which is by far the nicest car I've gotten to clean. I have a little deal running with people I know. If they're willing to let me either ride along or take their car to the wash, I'll pay for it if I can film it. Obviously Alex had no problem with this deal! We went back through the Ryko system at the Phillips 66 station in Jefferson City, this time at night. Other than some problems with accepting my debit card, the system is holding up beautifully. I can now safely call this my favorite automatic system. Follow me on:

The Ryko SoftGloss Payment/Wash preperation system runs Windows XP Embedded for ARM based processors.
Happy Wash (OTR/BP carwash) uses one of these systems.

Ryan's was awful. Our local one closed too, but they just totally left the signs and everything, they just put a sign on the door that says "Closed, no trespassing". That payment system is absolutely ridiculous. I guess Ryko has never heard the term "If it ain't broke don't fix it". I guess they were trying to be "revolutionary". That computer probably runs some form of Windows Embedded (probably CE) and probably has the same processor you would see in a GPS running CE. I like the wash though. What does your friend do on RUclips? I would love to check him out, but I can't get the name you said in the video.

if I owned a Ryko Soft Gloss Maxx, I likely would use the PDQ pay machine and PDQ signage. I know PDQ also makes retrofit for older Ryko stuff too
