Also, can you make a video about how to replace the bulbs for both the ashtray and cigarette lighter? I think that there are two bulbs, but I am not sure how to replace it correctly, especially for the ashtray.

I have nothing coming in at the moment mk3 wise, loads of mk1 and mk2 cars coming in at the moment, but it is something I would like to cover, the tdi cruise control is dead easy, the US/Canada pedal vac cruise control setup for petrol cars isn't something we have a lot of here in Europe.
Man I remember doing all this in Fee’s cabby. Hope I don’t have to do it again when we get it back on the road.

Thanks, the only LED's I got of eBay was the ones that didn't really work for the heater controls. Is that the one you want? otherwise I show the site I got the clock LED's from in the video. 👍🏼
For the heater controls I found a solution you can put a led with 3 diodes on it one in left one right one front like the one on the clocks

@RestoDesignsnando I bought bulbs this style many from aliexpress for my seat ibiza 6k and the problem is solved all 3 controls are very brightly illuminated , even during the day you can see some red glow ( ibiza has red illumination)

Hi, i know that it's possible to install mk4 climatronic into mk3. But i wonder how mk4 heater control fits into panel if we install simlpe AC?🤔
If bought a new speedo cable for my mk1 ,how do you take of the plastic bit ( gearbox side) of the old one ? Or shall I just buy a knew plastic end?
