Would anyone be able to tell me why my C drive doesn't show the option Extend Volume when I right click on it in Disk Management? I have unallocated space I want to combine with my C drive like was shown in this video, but I don't have the option to Extend Volume.
Bro i want to ask one thing I have installed window in C drive Can i delete E drive which also contain some files i dont know what the use of them around 50GB Please suggest
@@LearnTECH1thanks for your help but it also contains window folder including program files and some others i don't know what the heck is this It is taking around 50 GB of my E drive
Thanks for the information. I have a question. I have falsely created drive d in drive of 40GB and it is not delatable. Plx guide Let me know how to remove drive d falsely created in drive C.
@@georgechilders4680 TBH I cant remeber, but I ended up giving up because my laptop refused to load from a USB from Boot (In the Bios Menu)... Ill just buy yet another Laptop and make sure its got SSD as the C: drive (I went for Memory instead of speed) lol
Bro when I am clicking on yes a message pops up saying: Volume is currently in use. To force the deletion of this partition, click Yes. Warning: Forcing a deletion might cause unexpected error in the application that is using this partition, Do you want to continue? Bro what should I do?
Thanks! My 1T HDD had three partitions when I began to follow your instructions. It worked perfectly to remove one of the unwanted partitions and thence to extend the C: drive, thus merging the storage space. However, I was not so lucky with the next partition. I removed it, leaving 500GB of unallocated space. So far, so good. But when I right-clicked on C: again to "Extend"--the option was grayed out. I can't seem to grab that highly desirable 500GB of unallocated storage! Can you offer any advice?
See that the partition you deleted does it say "free space" or "unallocated" if it is saying free space then delete the partition again it may be the problem same occurred with me too
