Hi Andra - It has been awhile since I have commented so I hope you see this. Looking at the pattern envelope, I would not have thought it would make such a sweet dress! I love the way you adapted the pattern and used two fabrics. Love it. I hope to be able to watch and comment more in the future. Take Care
Such a sweet look. I think it really needs the tie, makes a world of difference. That blue necklace looked so wonderful with the outfit. U got that at the perfect hem length. Thanks for posting the video.
Lovely to see you back with a full video ❤. I really like the colour blocking on this one and looks great with a tie. That's always my go to solution 😂. Thanks for the review 💙🤍 xx
hi Andra - love the unique stripe fabric. Good tip about using ready-made cording for a tie. Sleeve length is a good summer length. The dress screams SUMMER cookout to me! Enjoy wearing it this summer.
Yay- Andra’s back!!!😊I’ve missed your pattern reviews! This dress and fabric look so pretty on you! ❤using cord for waist ties- Genius!! I don’t like tent-like dresses on me so waist ties are a must!! So good to see you ❤❤❤

Thank you so much, Stephanie! It is so comfy! Burda’s instructions are really, really minimal. But, if you’ve sewn a similar garment before, and are familiar with the steps, that helps. Sometimes, I just guess and hope for the best! 🤣💗
I’ve seen Burda patterns. Sometimes they don’t fit together. Love their styles but I wonder who is drafting them. I found a new Indie company and bought a pattern for the “French Curve “dress.
@annewhitney8809 That dress sounds beautiful, Anne! I’ve been pleased with the Burda patterns I’ve made, so far. Their instructions are “short and sweet”, though. 💗
@jammymommy Just be careful if you size down the bodice - make sure it will still be able to go over your head. You may want to make a muslin of the bodice before cutting into your good fabric. Keep me posted. 💗

Thank you so much, Biz! Totally agree about the tie - unless I go to a buffet! 🤣💗
Yes, I agree with you that the tie really changes the whole structure of the dress! It truly is a beautiful dress on you! ❤
Thank you so much, Myra! I think a more drapey fabric will make it a little less poufy! 💗
