So I sold my 2016 f350 dually for 65k last year this year last week I bought a silver 2018 F250 larriot with a leer fibetglass camper top painted same color of truck ($4,500) value included and Rhino liner included in bed this truck is loaded all bells and whistles upgraded sony stereo with amp and 2 subwoofers factory done leather seats full sun and moon roof back up cameras the works with only 38k miles and dealer put on brand new falken 35 inch tires truck was garaged kept still smelled like new inside. Paid 52K for it. I'm thinking it was a good deal. I paid 88k for my dually in 2016 new. So yes trucks are going thru the roof.

It's a nice looking truck both inside and out. I Currently own a black car. They look great clean, but your correct. They show scratches especially when an idiot hits your car with their door. I wash it and it's dusty within an hour. I'm guessing with you mentioning mileage. It's over 100,000. Hopefully you have some service history. Hopefully the truck was maintained correctly. That obviously helps extend the engine life. From personal experience.

I’ve purchased a new duramax in 09 and still have it today. It has 350k miles. I deleted it at about 50k miles and put a transgo jr shift kit in the trans. Other than that I’ve only done regular maintenance to the truck. Not sure if I’ve just gotten lucky or if diesels will go forever if you maintain everything. I think 60k miles is still like new although I’m not familiar with the newer engines etc. Good luck, nice truck.

Original turbo, trans and engine still going strong. I love my truck. Each time I think about getting a new one and see those prices I think, I’m good.

Every engine has its problems but if maintained properly these newer Diesel engines will last 300k+ with minimum issues. I have a 97 7.3 Powerstroke with almost 400k and it runs great. The previous owner neglected some of the maintenance items but once I addressed them I have had no issues with the truck.

Imi here 427k tuned , trans tuned, fass, optilube fuel additive, stealth 64 turbo, oil changes every 5k. Trans external every 20k. Internal every 60k. All toes and fingers crossed, butt stays in clenched position.

At least you found a truck to get you by for a little while. Its tough to find a good deal anymore or maybe Im still living in the past haha. I still look at Raptors. I am missing out on too many simple features with the Hellcat and it has some type of engine noise so I am stalling to do anything to it.

Are you looking at a 6.2l or a Diesel?
If you're looking for a 6.2l I would look for the ticking noise due to the IMRC. I'm sure more experienced Ford F-250 6.2l owners can touch on this topic a lot more.
