I train in Kali under Guro Kamille Louis who is also a student under Dan Inosanto. So its pretty cool to see you guy's train some disarms and techniques that we train.
Spanish who ruled long times in Philippines, they prohibited the Filipino Martial Arts because big percentage they failed their bad operation to the Filipino in the past if Filipinos use their Kind of martial arts the KALI . That's why Filipino Martial Arts is so Effective against bad guys. Thank you sir for your effort teaching this Filipino martial arts to us. God bless you
And I usually Shield off the Angle 1 and come down with elbow control, then insert the stick on the opposite side of the neck from the get go. But lots of good angles and variations!
Good stuff guys... having been a Philippine martial arts practitioner for the last 26 years... I would never grapple somebody with a stick... I would abaniko every part of the body that my stick could make contact with breaking everything that I hit... But I would never grapple somebody with my stick.
to be able to do those trck you have to be super quick cause you opponest are also moving it make me think that its impossible to do btw I'm filipino🇵🇭
If BJJ is so cool, then why are they learning kali? This question is raised to those BJJ fanbois who looked down on Kali. Judo, and its derivative arts complements kali and vice versa.
most filipinos I/we know where nikes to the gym and don't take them off for hair loss instructors regardless of diplomacy level ie comedians vs the abuv result: 1987
Eso no se aplica a la vida real, es distinto..Es coreografía aprendida. No obstante para hacer una palanca para reducir, igual te vas a llevar un golpe.
Corbin Holmes yeah i know ....the name of the video shoukd be fma meets fma..... all this stuff is already in the art so i dont know why its fma meets jiujitsu🤦🏽♂️

Matthew Hunyadi Jason is an instructor under Guro Dan and has training JKD and Kali under him for around 30 years.
I train with Datu Kelly S Worden.
My FMA lineage goes from Professor Presas to Datu Worden to me.

WITHIN THE FIRST 15 SECONDS -- YOU ABOVE EXCELLENT!
Very cool ideas!!! I love the concept of stick grappling while standing and pulling chokes.
And I usually Shield off the Angle 1 and come down with elbow control, then insert the stick on the opposite side of the neck from the get go. But lots of good angles and variations!
Sheeesh!! This is a truly invaluable information video. Thank you all
This reminds me of footage put out by the Triad Alliance Group, who trained LA Sheriffs Department during the 90s.
Beautiful work
Love your videos. Wide diversity of techniques, shown in ways that are easily learned with good production quality. Awesome stuff.
This is really really cool
Mabuhay 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
This is seriously cool thank you
Love to see more !!!

You have to get close first and honestly to a trained Arnisador or Eskrimador it is not easy to get close like that.
In Serrada we get very close.
Some interesting and pretty advanced techniques here. As a beginner, I had my thirst whetted to get better.
Try using those same exact techniques except with a Rams curl cane like grandmaster shoei with cane Masters.
Nicely done gents !
INCREDIBLE
Good stuff guys, thanks for sharing.
stick chokes ruff how's that neck there Eli?
Justinian S Much less comfortable than getting choked with a gi 😫

Love to see some more stick grappling and some flexible weapons grappling.
Nice!!!!!
Excellent

Bjj is sport but Kali is self defense art
Wow.
FMA Kali is The Best for Survival.....
I am also a practitioner of Kali, but I beg to differ. Parkour and freerunning is the best for survival. Hahahaha
@@joshuasim8019 ye unless you are faster but its a necessity to fight back if theres no chiloice.
I do bjj and kali but not mastered it. Still needs more training and fight experience, greetings from the land of the orient seas.
Good techniques
I have similar sticks
굉장히 높은 수준의 통찰력을 발견할 수 있었습니다. 막대기가 마치 몸의 일부인 것처럼 능숙하게 사용하는군요.
U can use trapping hand but problems is easily broken the arm in arnis to deadly
Kali and jiujitsu are compatible for empty hand combat.
I do them both but not master of it.

@1:50 LOL
I do khali
Damn I didn't know Eli had 25 years of FMA
I think he mispoke, because if he had 25 years of FMA I doubt he'd hold the stick the way he does. he looks like he has dabbled in it a bit.
So...no love for Dumog

Dejame decirte que trabajo hace 15 años en la policia de USA y esas tecnicas se las tendria que hacer a un tipo dormido para que resultaran. Fake

Before u become a master ur bone is broken already
The first few techniques look to complicated to pull off in a real situation.
Very unlikely to work, unless the attacker, stands still
