Each year, International Guitar Night’s founder Brian Gore invites a new cast of guitar luminaries from around the world for special concert tours of North America (IGN) and Germany (NDG) highlighting the diversity of the acoustic guitar.
For International Guitar Night’s 19th year of touring, Brian has assembled another incredible, dynamic quartet: Guest host Luca Stricagnoli, Italy’s explosive contemporary showman, returns by popular demand, joined by two of France’s acclaimed young prodigies, Swing guitarist Antoine Boyer and Flamenco guitarist Samuelito, and the ground-breaking Turkish fretless guitarist Cenk Erdoğan.
In this video, they perform their arrangement of “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.

These guys are pushing the boundaries of acoustic guitar playing. Hedges started it rolling and now it's a freight train running down the side of a mountain. I've played for 55 years and never cease to be amazed at the new creativity that comes out every year. The guitar has come a long way from being just a rhythm instrument that was merely strummed.

This is why Luca and the rest of the finger style guitarist are never on “ the top 100 guitarist list” because they believe lightning speed makes you the greatest and not innovation. If not for Michael Hedges, Preston Reed and Billy McLauphlin(? spelling) would there be a finger style guitar genre?!

I didnt realize it until you comment. How it play?
That fellow Cenk Erdogan really has some skill, similar to that of a very good violinist, he's got very accurate pitch (I have picky ears and they smiled ;~), must have taken a lot of practice even with some natural talent. Not to take anything from Luca, but like him, that's the first time in a long life as a musician myself I'd seen either of their techniques expressed anything like that well. True mastery always makes it *look* easy.
