DESCRIPTION
“The Prodigy” was shot in Dornstadt, Germany, at the DUSS container depot. It wasn’t easy to record the whole video without any cut because the temperature was really cold. Furthermore, the location is a working area where 41 tons container are constantly moved, and for safety reasons we had to use the rare moments where no containers were being carried over our heads. The track includes three pieces by the English band “The Prodigy”: Invades Must Die, Omen, Voodoo People (credits below).

Guys, thank you very much for watching this video and for your nice comments. One thing I would like to point out: “The Prodigy” is not referred to myself but to the fantastic band “The Prodigy”, whose music I am covering here. RIP Keith Flint...and thank you.
Oh I beg your pardon - you are in my opinion - when are you coming to the states?
You are awesome n inspiring...oh & gorgeous!!!✌
Great cover medley Luca! Did his music justice with this kick ass video. 👌🏻
I know this was posted before his death, but you nailed it in an acoustic way. I'm sure Keith would have been proud.
You are a seriously sick player Luca. I hope you are getting the exposure you deserve. If not - find it - I couldn't take my eyes off your skill.
This video is approximately 116m long. There are 20 containers at ground level:
Triton x5
Dong Feng
Hamburg Sud
OOCL x2
Safmarine
Hapag Lloyd x2
Maersk x2
GE Seaco
UASC
MSC x2
CMA CGM

Oh. Good guitar too.
@Jill Stingray is precious Hello fellow pedant! You almost had me, but CIMC only manufacture boxes. They are, however, part of the conglomerate that operates COSCO, and I didn't see any COSCO boxes. If the unmarked blue box isn't a CMA CGM, it's probably a Triton.

Shipping containers are so 2011, tightrope is where we at 2020,death by Prodigy
Yeah but then he stops and plays the xylophone. Pretty epic.
Hell yeah, it's a popular thing in my country, too. On a sunny weekend you can see whole families enjoying this atmosphere.

Is it even legal to be so talented!?

(CandyRat rec.

Somehow I think all this was planned out because I’ve never seen a shipping dock have instruments just laying around
Maybe he was just lucky
@Jaimee Gilmore You really think that's funny? It's not even proper English, and a horrible attempt at satire.
Yeah, I've been walking through shipping docks for nearly 10 years now. And I've never seen more than 2 instruments lying around. He must have captured and sedated these instruments to get them to stay there, which is barbaric.
@@basedbear1605 It was perfectly understandable, though. And that, according to my old English teacher, is enough. Let people enjoy their own kinds of humour, good sir/madam/person/apache helicopter.
@@MidoriTatsu If it were funny, I would acknowledge it. It simply wasn't funny.... it was a poor attempt at humor. Now ANDY's comment was funny, and I thumbs up'd him. Look at the difference... one of them put in actual effort and a funny twist (captured and sedated). That was funny.
You KNOW Stricagnoli is for real when you can actually hear the fall of the xylophone's stick at 1:13
mf is pure talent, cheers from Brazil great Luca.
You are my hero.
How did he strum the guitar to make the music WHILE using his strumming hand to play the xylophone?
@@codylawrence2176 It's a technique called "hammer-ons". He basically "hammers" his fingers of the fretting hand onto the frets to make sound, which allows his strumming hand to play the xylophone. hope that helps!
So I watched a few videos on hammer ons and the way they explain them is that once a string is played you play a fret and then quickly press down the adjacent string to get a note out of the carried over vibration from the first string.
So I have heard of a one handed technique known as "plucking" in which the guitarist uses the tips of thier fingers to pull the string upward from the guitar to get the same effect as playing that string. Are you claiming he's plucking the string then doing hammer ons?
@@codylawrence2176 Carrying over the vibration and then hammering on the fret is one way to do it yes. I should've been more specific, my bad: Basically you can also use hammer-ons on strings that aren't even vibrating at the moment. By hammering "on" the fret hard enough the impact alone creates enough vibration to make the note ring. No strumming or plucking required ^^
You describe hammer ons as one handed string impacts against the frets that cause notes of sound.
I just think the small spaced impacts from string to board could be dampened by the finger tips and therefore not be audible to the *hidden microphones in the video.
Im pretty sure the musician overlayed audio for this music video and included the xylophone stick drop for the effect of realism.I dont think he would have set up microphones on his shoes or near the base of the keyboard to catch that sound.
This doesn't mean this video is faked, but it does mean that audio and video were done separately for the sake of audio variables such a wind muffling, the sound of walking/rolling the camera tripod, seagulls, ocean, machinery ect.
As awesome as it would have been for the audio and video to be shot together in one go -which would totally be cool and nuts..it's more likely you got fooled by a musical genius in a great way. Edit:So I discovered his method of strumming the strings one handed, its really hard to see but he has a thumb pick on.
This is the best guitar performance I think I've ever seen from a standpoint of style switching, through to choreographed playing!!!
Is it even possible to have someone this good be a teacher? What would that even cost?!?!
For acoustic, check out Alexandr Misko. And ROOOCK, watch the live performance of Yngwie Malmsteen's "Black Star"
Really incredible work Luca. Next level stuff. Youre reinventing whats possible on guitar.
best cover of the prodigy period :)
