Did this in the gym just then, currently sat outside getting fresh air before going back in. Oh and in between this I threw up in the toilets and walked around the changing rooms with my t shirt off and lay down on the changing room floors. Brutal.
YO i dont have air bike or bent treadmill or sled and its snowing outisde I can do this with heavybag or rower or normal gym bike whats best of that options?
What is the main cause if there is a massive drop in performance between first set, second set and third set? Even with say 4-5 minute rest between rounds. Is ~20-30% drop in performance expected between sets? If not, is there anything specific to work on if first set numbers are great but it falls off the cliff in 2nd and 3rd sets?
1.) your creatine phosphate (sprinting system) is depleted after about 10 seconds maximum. 2.) you haven’t removed all of the lactate and you have OBLA. 3.) ATP isn’t as readily available as you’ve used your blood glucose.
And with practice, your body gets better and better with removing lactate buildup, that’s when you see better recovery between sets. Also supplementing with creatine and glucose can help.
Seeing the amount of lactic acid in the blood after each sprint. So his was saying 20millilitres per litre or something like that. Over time as his fitness increases the lactic acid threshold goes up and thus he will have less lactic acid at that effort, which means he can keep it up for longer and push even harder.
You need a base of steady state long cardio. If that’s running for you, then that’s what you do. I was a heavyweight and running messed with my joints so I skipped rope for high intensity and rode a road bike for long cardio
Thats a good workout. I made one up 10 seconds on, 20 off 7 rounds Rest 90 seconds Then every minute on the minute sprint for 10 calories for 7 minutes

Ouch! I need one. Ordering now.
Which app do you use for the intervals to track the laps and break times?
This bike is better than running ? i need for winter inside workout ,thx .
The airbike is a torture machine. Absolutely NOTHING will humble you faster and more completely than the airbike

Buy an old airbike. They’re like $100 used
Daaaaamn!
How long rest do you have between each 30sec sprint?
3 minutes.... repeat 30 secs max effort followed by 3 minutes rest for 4 rounds
Amazing , how much times per week is good to make this sprints?
2-3 times x 3-4 weeks
@@BoxingScience thanks I really love your videos , best regards from Mexico 🙌🙌🙌

Whats the reason for checking blood?

If you do this 2 times a week. Do you need till still run during the week or is this enough
I was told you should still do your road work 8-15 miles running.

Just tried this felt sick and light headed after why is this?
You worked out really hard it’s normal. Try turning down the intensity a little build your way up.
Are you hydrated? Sleep?
Its a tough workout - make sure to fuel up before and make sure you're hydrated
I do these 30 second sprints with 6 second rest for about 10 rounds as interval sprints will that improve my cardio like this session?
If you do it then you should know if it’s improving your cardio or not ?
@@TBO2488 as time flew by, yes it did help lmaooo
Yeah a three minute rest after 30 seconds work seems way too much. I do 15 seconds on 45 seconds rest for 10 rounds
Thats a good workout. I made one up
10 seconds on, 20 off 7 rounds
Rest 90 seconds
Then every minute on the minute sprint for 10 calories for 7 minutes
If you doing proper 30 second all out efforts you'd need at least a 4 minute rest between sets. I don't care how well trained the athlete is.
Haha that's bullshit you know that... 30sec has nothing to do with improving aerobic capacity
Its anaerobic..
