I saw the title and my heart sank. I can't believe this, nor can I believe how suddenly, and deeply affected I was by this.
Don't for a second feel bad for moving on, I just wanted to give a realistic impression of how much you guys and your content has mattered to me in ways I didn't even realise.
Thank YOU, both, and everyone involved in the making of SCF, and whatever you go on to do, I wish you all the best. Go forth you fabulous creatures and BABYPOWDER life in the face.

Because of the Couch Fighters my love for fighting games re-awakened.
Because of the Couch Fighters I now bring my ps4 to parties and gatherings to play numerous games together like Gang Beasts, Lethal League, MKX and many more.
Because of the Couch Fighters I allowed myself to open my social space and be less introverted.
My heart is broken but I am so thankful for the great 3 years that was the Super Couch Fighters, you two were and are still my favourite duo on RUclips and this channel probably was my longest active following on RUclips.
Brett Bayonne and Michael Santell I wish you both a great and glorious future, for you've given me and probably many others a great and glorious present and past. Thank you

I've been watching since your very first video, and have watched every video you've ever done and I'm actually crushed. You guys were by far my favourite channel on RUclips. Because of you guys I've learned so much about fighting games and myself as a person. It's been an incredible few years of discovery. You guys inspired me to discover my local FG/Smash community and have been attending locals regularly with my nephews since February 2016. I've met so many great people both online and offline because of the wonderful community you've created. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done. Look forward to seeing what's next for you guys, and hopefully we get the occasional SCF reunion! Love you guys, and good luck with the future!

Man, I remember how much I used to watch you guys. One of the few channels that I just instantly clicked on as soon as I got the notification for a new vid. You guys were legit a huge reason of why I got into fighting games in the first place, and it's sad that this channel came to an end. However, I haven't watched you guys in a long time, so I can at least treat myself to your old vids.

I'm devastated. I've only been following you for a little while after Brett slayed me with his wicked wit on Super Beard Bros with Dark Souls 3 #whatiscringe. There was a point when this channel really made me appreciate fighting games in a way I never had before. One of my dumb fantasies I used to amuse myself with was to see you do a Run it Back! with Thundercat and play MK X together (he's a huge MK fan and loves fighting games in general, in between being a legendary bassist of course, hehe). Not that it was ever possible, but it's less likely now.
As long as this is a creative decision and not you guys struggling with supporting the channel that's fine. Because if you needed to set up a Patreon to keep going I would happily donate to it. I hope at least the spirit of Couch Fighters will live on with Animoo Fighters on Jesse's channel.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and I hope your future endeavors go well!

You guys are the reason I started playing fighting games. I’ve always been hesitant to pick up a stick, but the way you guys are so inviting to the fighting game world made me get over my fear of getting bodied online and go buy a stick and SFV.
Watching a veteran like Brett inspired me to practice methodically and strive to get better, and watching Santell quarter circle his way through every game taught me to remember to have fun and it’s okay to yell at the TV. I’ve watched every episode and I’ve laughed every time.
From the amazing fighting game tips, to the random facts about anything and everything, to the very specific South Bay references (I’m a Redondo Beach born pleb). Thank you for everything Super Couch Fighters.

This video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix myself a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm a really shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I could introduce myself. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she had a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I wanted the best for her and I harbored no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seemed happy with her boyfriend, so I didn't bother her anymore. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it. I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already since I first saw her. Besides, I am quite happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wanted to live some other life without me in it, so I said, "Okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness." My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally couldn''t take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, "you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get myself a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got so distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video." She said, "You know what, I've been wondering about a weird noise in your night drawer." So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it.

Thank both of you for being the reason I got into fighting games and got multiple others into them through you and your videos. You're the reason I've laughed many many times in the past years. Much love you all of you. Never stop kicking ass. Love to see your new projects. Thank you for what you've created. And for Michael, YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT. Cowboy.

I'm going to miss you guys. I've been a fan for at least a year or two now, and your videos have helped me get through some really tough moments since I started watching your channel's content. I don't play fighting games often anymore, but I've been training in various martial arts for the past six or so years now, and it's one of the biggest passions of my life. I've also been working through serious chronic back pain, which has limited how, what, and when I can train, so on days when I couldn't train, watching your content helped fill that void and kept me from thinking about all the problems in my life for a while. My love for martial arts combined with your love of martial arts as well as fighting games always made me feel like I was on that couch with you, sharing a common passion.
You guys are genuinely wonderful people and while I will miss the laughs, the games, the button mashing, and the belt rivalries, I will always appreciate the work you guys did here and how much it helped me. Thanks again you two, (and Jay Jay of course lol) you're awesome! You have my love and respect.
Like Bruce Lee jump-kicking his way into a hail of gunfire at the end of his film The Chinese Connection, you guys leave a huge lasting impact on me, and it's permanent. Fight on, warriors of the couch...fight on.

Thank you so much for the good times. While I haven't commented before, I've watched almost every episode of SCF and it always brings a smile to my face
This channel did inspire me to check out more fighting games, especially 2D fighters, like Blazblue
I wish both of you well on your future endeavours!

Definitely among the most underappreciated channels around. I didn't watch everything but there was a lot of story modes and other things I ran through with you all. Nothing beat Santell's salt or Brett's way of trying to find patterns or play style of other people. It is very sad to see you guys part ways but there's always the back catalog to go through and enjoy. Thanks for that.
