Thank you, I am famous enough LOL. I do these videos because I have a real passion (obsession) with these Italian beauties not for fame.😃 Thanks for watching x
Resale is ok. Not amazing, so this is a big decision. Read my book Italy is My Boyfriend about our experience with real estate. But you do not buy a house in Italy to resell. It's not like the states. Thanks for the great question. Thanks for watching. x
Very useful video. I am just wondering if one would buy a barn then one can't just live there? In Portugal you need a permit to live there; owning the house is not enough because some buildings are just for agricultural use in Portugal (I understood from videos). In italy you can just buy a barn and make it into a home an live there? If you are not sure I may investigate myself ;) Thank you!
This is a question for Federico. His website link in under the video. In our case we did not need to do anything to convert our barn to a studio space. Thanks for watching.x
Hello I just watched your video of your magnificent home and property. You are very fortunate, I've watched several videos where in one instance, the sellers, after delaying the sale for months, the new owners arrived to find a shell of a home. The kitchen, bathroom including the toilet and all light fixtures were removed. Another purchased fixtures and lumber. Stored it in the home only to have it all stolen. Another, asked if the old antique/primitive furnishings came with the home. Was told yes. Guess what, they removed 95 percent of the furnishings. No recourse. Maybe it's a cultural thing?
I don't think it's cultural, I think that they needed to work with a reputable agent, and notaio. I talk about some of our own mistakes in my book Italy is My Boyfriend. It is one of the reasons I do these videos . Thanks for watching x
Hi. I noticed you said the freestanding houses are from the 80’s or 50’s. They don’t have older ones? If I’m looking for an old farmhouse (1800-1930) in the states with a few acres what would that be called in Italia? From what I’ve seen everyone lives right by each other (even in villages) or u have to buy a big villa. There’s no in between that’s old?
Another hilarious video. You should be MORE famous!

An agriturismo, is probably what you're looking for.
