This is one of the best trailers I have seen in years I have watched it so many times. It's like art meets fashion meets iconic meets Demi the legend Moore .....
This movie is fantastic! There are a whole load of surprises this trailer is not disclosing and it does not disappoint. This is a horror spectacle which rises head and shoulders above the rest and whose events will stay with me for a good long time.

I'm impressed that they got two actors who clearly have done tons of weird shit to their faces in an effort to remain "young" looking to play characters doing the same thing.
It's very self-aware
As someone who used to obsess over aging, body image, and medications/lifestyle changes to unhealthily lose weight, this movie hits home hard. I will definitely be seeing it.
It only supports that sort of thing.

See also Helter Skelter (2012) a Japanese horror/psychological horror film that has many similar characteristics. I haven't seen The Substance yet, but the trailer is giving similar vibes 🤷🏼♀️

In another universe, this movie is twice as long and twice as fucked up like therapy on acid.

looks fine. Demi Moore is too old for this, though. I would be more inclined to watch it if it was just the younger woman. I guess they needed a name.
