You are completely right, the weekly recap in very original and informative. And other RUclipsrs are not competitors, the audience is too large and diverse and there are viewers for all kinds of content. Congratulations on all your accomplishments and a very happy new year, with lots of fountain pen therapy moments for all of us 😊

I am in awe in your library concerning handwriting. I have been relearning my own. Over the years my handwriting had become illegible. I used to write fairly slowly but in the world of business, taking notes at meetings required faster handwriting, so legibility suffered; so much so, I couldn't read what I wrote a day later. Now, with my daily journaling, I have slowed down, concentrating in legibility. Taking up writing with fountain pens has helped.

I have participated in other live pen shows. It’s interesting the way subscribers bounce things off each other. You can set boundaries about areas you don’t want to get into.
Having to use Chinese pens has given me a new appreciation of Fine nibs. I too have spent a lot of time going down the Stub and Flex nib burrows. So far I’ve found the gold vintage flex nibs are the best.

Hi Vincenzo! Really enjoyed this recap video of 2024. Have to agree it was also a year of discovery for me in the FP world. Got my Pelikan M800 this year, and most recently the little Vizir Elf with that LOVELY, JUICY FINE Schmidt nib! An amazing and smooth writer. Have a great year, Mr. V and can't wait to see your upcoming videos!

hi Vincenzo, happy new year, with plenty of new pens, nibs and videos !
Oh I've understood now why old tomoe river paper stocks have decreased a lot ;-). It was you :-).
Appart, about what you mentionned concerning Leonardo nibs: it makes me smile because I've finished a video about a Leonardo pen thinking to you (I even mentionned it could be a nib for you ;-))...
The weekly recap is from my opinion one of the most interesting rendez-vous for the fountain pen community. You can be proud of it. For a live show, just my view, tbh I'm not interested because I never watch live video in youtube (too much constraint to be present at the right time). I can watch after, but then "live" doesn't make sense ...
My friend I wish you all the best for 2025 !

    Hey, Vincenzo!
I admire you for your channel history and your effort on creating a different Fountain Pen content. To me you are the best FP channel of 2024 for sure! (as you like to do with your lists, lol). Maybe of all time.
I agree that you should do your videos just as you wish. It`s not only Fountain Pen therapy, but it should also be Video Creating therapy for you too. You gain twice and we get to have a distinct content rather than standard pen reviews.
Just keep on doing your awesome work and delight us with those eye candies and information.
I agree with you: there should not be competitors. We are a community and the more, the marrier. And we need new people on the hobby. Let`s unite ourselves to make the FP hobby and usage grow more and more.
    Cheers from Brazil!

Hi Vincenzo, a great happy new year to you too, and thank you for your video and the goodwill you broadcast every week !
I have quite few Watermans, both modern and (really)vintage. The Edson is fantastic, but then, there is also the Liaison and the Carene. The Carene is perfection, and I'm chasing a silver and a gold-plated one. The Liaison gets a bad reputation for its inconsistent nib... I have only one and it's a stellar writer, with a very distinctive "no section" design that makes it completely unique.
And you owe to treat yourself to a Namiki nib - it doesn't have to be new-mortgage-expensive one. I remember entering their Parisian retailer, and getting a try at one of their (almost) affordable models. I wrote a couple words, looked up a the store owner with wide, eyes and just said "Wow!" - She smiled back a demure "I know...", well aware she had a sale.
I eventually bought one of the smaller Maki-E Yukaris (size 10 on the Pilot/Namiki scale), and I take it out when I am in dire need of Fountain Pen Therapy, if only for a paragraph. It never fails.
Again, thanks for keeping us entertained, and a great year to you and your family.

Happy New Year Vincenzo. I've been looking for just this. I only discovered RUclips in 2018 and started watching different fountain pen channels at that time. I have favorites: Chrisrap, Sbrebrown, Garryeves, Inkquiring Minds, Jg3, Shakmd...something I discovered is that I frequently find myself interrupting the videos to post a comment. This is where I think the Lives are particularly good. I love that you address a community and not competitors. Like you, this is therapy for me. I don't need putdowns or snarky comments. It's wonderful to see what brings out the joy. Thank you for your efforts. Looking forward to the new year .

Fantastic idea to publish a review of your work from 2024 and a look ahead to 2025, in which you once again express your personal joy in our hobby. It's good that you don't see other RUclipsrs (with or without high click rates and subscriber numbers) as competition. I have enjoyed your videos a lot in the past and will certainly continue to do so in the future. And even if I don't share your enthusiasm for Indian FPs (and there are many reasons for my disapproval), I also follow these videos with undivided attention.

I love the graphics and sound dont change that, its unique. it’s a Pelikan year for 2024 7 pcs, now for 2025 maybe 4 diff Montblancs if i am happy with the first ill start with 146 Legrand. Yay my Glauco Cambon is here, love it will ink it later. I like your straight writing it is more consistent and neat and it is asking for broad nibs. I write small, so fine and medium is my thing. Occasional stub on Christmas cards with shimmer then wash 🙃

I contemplated writing you to suggest reducing the intro, but figured there must be a reason you make it so long. Now I just skip forward. I agree that mentioning the other pen reviewers is a positive thing and only helps to strengthen the community as a whole. In fact, I take you more seriously because you do mention others. Thanks so much for all your work on your channel and for sharing that with us. I wish you another prosperous year.

Thank you Vincenzo for your generosity of sharing your knowledge. I am looking to buy fewer pens in 2025, having bought many of the ones you have brought to my attention, so I am interested in where I go from here and I think the answer is in nibs - either modifying the existing nibs or by replacing the stock nibs with interesting alternatives and I'd be interested in anything you find out in this respect. Marc Kompaneyets referred to Pens vs Nib Holders - and the Jowo ones fell into the second category. His channel is worth watching if you don't know it by the way.

Happy new year. I would not suggest doing a live show. It sounds like it would just make you tense. Many live shows have more chit-chat and less new content.
Interviews with other pencasters? I’d keep them kind of concise and focused on their bio and vision.
I’m always interested in the history of different pen makers. They have more interesting stories that would interest other FP users.
You could have a few different series - reviews of pens - meeting stores or nibgrinders - meeting prn clubs and shows - book reviews. These are just suggestions so you can have your FP therapy and not get stuck in a rut. All up to you but happy holidays.

@ thanks for considering. I have to create lectures for work. I imagine there are aspects like lawyers planning arguments or questioning. We can see audiences when they get distracted or bored. It is hard when video logging or for me when I sometimes record lectures without an audience. I’m impressed by how much you must put into this FP therapy (time, money, planning…). Do whatever is therapy for you. Happy new year.

Happy New Year, Vincenzo! Looking forward to seeing what you do in 2025. Can't wait for the Montegrappa review!
Re: Your "grail pen" list - I didn't hear you mention Yard-O-Led. I think any grail pen list is incomplete without the Viceroy Grand Victorian! As you know, SBRE Brown considers it one of the best pens made and it is certainly distinctive.
Live show? I never watch live YT shows, mainly because I just can't arrange my life that way, and I dislike watching the recordings. Aside from the inevitable technical issues that get recorded, there's a lot of fluff in live shows - the incessant naming of who's watching, etc. I like your recaps the way they've evolved, and if you do a live show I hope it's not for the recap.
Here's something I'd like to see you address occasionally: fun, surprising, or puzzling encounters with both fountain pen users and non-users. In your business you must meet a lot of people who are surprised to see your FPs, and it would be fun to hear about their comments/reactions.
