I got a red knob yesterday. It's about 5 inches, so it's a nice size star, but i did not research well so i only did 30 mim acclimation, it moved from the sand bed to the glass and its there for some hrs now
    I hope it dont die

Hi mate! Thank you for watching. Really appreciate the feedback - I will absolutely bear this in mind. My audio wasn't great on this as my mic had unbeknownst to me disconnected as I was filming so I did struggle to balance due to the echo.
      Cheers bud 👍

Hey man i bought a starfish today. I put him on the sand, and he went directly to the glass. I took him off the glass put him on a rock, and he went right back to the top of the glass. Is this normal ? What should i do ?

Hey man! I wouldn’t worry, great sign that it’s so active, well done for settling it in so well. Mine sometimes rides the limit at the top of the tank. Does it kick back one leg into the tank? Apparently this is the starfish taking a vantage point and checking out the tank, sounds mental but I once read that somewhere. Could be hungry? I wouldn’t say it’s anything to worry about and you’ll soon see yours all over the tank. Which one did you go for?

Crap I took mine out of the water when I transferred to tank. What are you feeding it and how. Thanks

Don’t worry, just so long as all is well now. I will drop some food where the fish is and it’ll take it in. Larger bits of mysis work really well bud 👍
