700 Horsepower on a Street Tire!

It’s truly staggering what Rodney Williford and the Pro Street Motorcycle drag racers can do by making 700 horsepower on a turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa and using a Dunlop Dragmax DOT street legal tire as a contact patch. Rodney is absolutely correct on s.maller tire I can feel a big difference when I run a 180 on my zx14 the rim opens up a 180 better putting more rubber on the ground than the wider 190 it calls for and the lighter tire puts out way more hp less weight on tire makes big difrrence

We used to turn the tire around every 15 to 20 runs. It helped some, and any advantage is worth it. Of course this was back in my day in the 70's and early 80's. Nowadays I wouldn't have a clue. Nice catch by the way.
