Just wonderful, been searching for "landscape front garden ideas" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Giyily Landscaping Yatty - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my partner got excellent success with it.
Why is the green LSG stuff needed since there is brick enclosed on each side? Looks like it's overkill since the stone can't go anywhere and is compacted anyway. Just curious...thanks
Yes, you can apply concrete in such a way that it creates an exposed aggregate look. It will no longer be a permeable surface. For more information on how this can be done, give us a call!
I have a nice big yard with space on the side too. The side yard it's just sitting there looking boring..I want to use that space too..the side yard has a slope which iam thinking of removing or adding dirt to level. After that iam gonna lay down concrete to use that space too. However, now iam debating between gravel and concrete for the side yard space ( 15ft from house to fence and 60ft long.)...my only concern is gravel getting stuck under shoes and bringing it into the house...I have very nice plank vinyl flooring.. we won't be taking shoes off to go into house.

the problem is this isn't gravel !!!! this is a pee rock will this work on a true (gravel) driveway ?????? can you spray this on a heavy driven driveway any length and let it soak in to allow gravel from coming loose and pod holing ?
Gravel-Lok can be applied to any type of stone or gravel, even angular gravel, that is anywhere from 1/8" up to 2.5" in size and it will hold it in place. For driveways, you want a smoother surface and only smaller stones (typically 3/8" size stone is used) can be troweled to a smooth surface. Larger stones can't be troweled to a smooth surface which leaves some stones sticking up and those stones will be more vulnerable to coming loose under the pressure of car tires. Gravel-Lok is thick like syrup; it cannot be "sprayed" on. However, if your stones are already down you can clean them in place, let them dry, and sprinkle the Gravel-Lok liquid on with a watering pail or gravity wand. Follow that up with 1 - 2 roll coats, allowing it to cure in between. Please call us at 888-851-0051 to discuss the best technique and installation tips before attempting your first project.

Hello, what can I do, this young man, he said he could put in a patio with steppingstone, then heput a thin layer of pea gravel over black paper, and left the grass under it, what do I need to do to fix it,? Noe the pea gravel is on my patio, I sweep to put it back but the paper is showing through the gravel, can you tell me what I can do to fix the mess he left
Did he compact the sub base? If not its not going to drain well. Also, any gravel with smooth edges will not compact well [and will shift]. Try 3/4" jagged gravel.
+tubetwo100 bonding the stones together is (a) easier to walk on - stable surface (b) not messy …stones aren’t ending up in your grass and house (c) cleaner look.
Yes. Gravel-Lok can be used to create driveways. However, please keep in mind that routine maintenance would be required. Over time a certain percentage of stones come loose and with a driving application this can happen at a faster rate, especially where tires turn. Maintenance, in the form of patching and roll coats, would be needed to maintain the bond. When you need a permeable driving surface, Gravel-Lok is a great option. It is lower in cost than permeable pavers and it looks infinitely better than porous concrete!
Can i use this product, on top of an existing walkway, that uses two side by side 12x12x2 1/2" red brick looking flat pavers . I have small pea sized gravel around the blocks and out to edge of walkway. ( about 100' of pathway) Thankx
HGR693 I would like to know that also! A young kid put some paper down but he left the grass under neath the paper and put a very thonlayer of pea gravel on top. Noe the gravel gets all over my patio, and my stepping stones gave a 4-5 inch gap , instead of the 1-2 inch gap that I ask for, I don't think this kid new anything about doing patio work, I don't know what todo now! Very I happy
I don't think it was worth the 11 grand to do that JOB....looks like crap with the LARGE stones in the middle ! don't get me wrong gravel lok works just the design was crazy for amount of labor and materials required...
Excellent presentation. Thanks for not adding music during the voiceover.
Thanks for being clear without music.

That would be great for a complete driveway!
i almost had a heart attack from that music at the end.
so...pebbles and epoxy? Interesting idea.
That's really nice looking. what is the price comparison to flag stone...and other types.
Would this be strong enough for a path for wheeling trash bins?
that is some nice looking stuff
thanks to the good mexican labor
What a bias remark.
Lots of manpower needed to complete that process
That’s amazing job looks good💪🏼👍🏼

Wow that is a huge amount of work for a gravel walk area. I'm sure it's done right but at this amount of work there are better options.
Will this damage surrounding plant material or grass??
+Matthew Mills We do not sell acetone. It can be found in any hardware store, in the paint department.
Gravel Lok ty...great info here
Looks nice, but what's the cost?
Can I do a roll coat on an already installed walkway with 3/4 delaware stone?

Yes! This would be a great application for Gravel-Lok. Please give us a call if you have any questions 888-851-0051.
That looks like that shiny stuff they used to put around swimming pools in the 1970s and 1980s. New name?
All the benefits of permeable paving with more hazards to the environment than solid paving! Do you guys also sell Acetone?
You can buy acetone and Home Depot, lowes, menards etc.
Pour concrete, seed rocks, done.
Thanks!

Didn't you see the video? Use Elmers Glue and a paint roller
But seriously. Add a wall to secure more gravel. Compact it down so it doesn't move
Or you have dig out the grass and do the job properly.
The paper is gonna kill the grass, its fine
Did he compact the sub base? If not its not going to drain well. Also, any gravel with smooth edges will not compact well [and will shift]. Try 3/4" jagged gravel.

I was very surprised you did not remind people working with acetone to not smoke.
Can you make a drive way with Gravel Lok?
Yes. Gravel-Lok can be used to create driveways. However, please keep in mind that routine maintenance would be required. Over time a certain percentage of stones come loose and with a driving application this can happen at a faster rate, especially where tires turn. Like concrete.
