because of this preaching i finally broke up with the guy i was with last 2017. it's 2020 and I'm still single but i am happily waiting for GOD'S best ❤️☺️
The 4 Questions: 1. Do my parents approve? 2. Is there spiritual compatibility? 3. Am I really ready to get married - (How old are you?, Am I running from something?, Am I looking for a savior?, How long have I been dating this person?) 4. Am I physically attracted to this person?
My Parents don't Approve of my Current Boyfriend Robert Grab. Not sure if me and him have a Spiritual compatibility yet.He and I are really ready to get married. He and I are really physically attractive to each other since Day One of dating.
Thank you so much Pastor Jeff for sharing such godly wisdom with us singles! Your candid approach is greatly appreciated and everything you have stated makes perfect sense. I am an older single (53 years old) never been married and no kids. I have been a believer all my life and over the past 21 years I have worked abroad in 5 countries and now in my 6th - I work as an English teacher - my life is given to God totally and to serve HIM wherever HE opens doors. I wish more churches could speak on these issues-its very challenging to be single while living abroad but God does give us the strength to endure. May God bless you your family and ministry! ...and may your daughter eventually marry the right man who has a passion for God and who will give HIS approval and someone who will cherish respect and honor her.
Thank you for this great video, I have written it down and will share it with my four children and hopefully they will watch this video with me and my husband. And thank you for quoting the Bible, the greatest source of advice for living in this world.
should i known these 4 questions before i got married, i should have not experienced what I have been through....but thank God is our redeemer and deliverer...thank you very much for this message that encourage me to share to younger ladies and even to parents
Blessed Jona, we're so glad you've been encouraged by this! We're also saddened that your experience with marriage wasn't the best. What stood out to you most?
I very much needed this information, because I know its a huge step to get married and I'm happy with the four questions. I will also share this with my friends. Thank you and God bless you and your ministry. Amen.
Great content, but actually the Divorce rate 60 Percent higher for couples who get married before 25 not 24 years old. The older you are the more mature, more affluent and more educated you are likely to be, less financial stress is put on the marriage. Besides the human brain is not even fully developed until the age of 25. It really is best to wait past that age before getting married. I for one married my high school sweetheart when we were 23 years old. My parents were quite happy about it. My father liked him and still does. We got divorced 10 years later, we were young, clueless and immature. We didn't have the same goals, aspirations and vision for our family. Had we been older I would have known better. Now I do therefore, and I pray daily for wisdom from God. I was recently dating someone that my friends and family thought was great but God said he was not it. I obediently walked away. I am not for everyone, I was made for that one and only man. I have made some learned so much on this journey, when my future husband finds me, I trust that God will reveal it to me. Now I focus on my life purpose, helping women to live a fufill life after Divorce, encouraging them not to give up on themselves and love.
I like your statement, "I am not for everyone." We all need to realize this. It is so encouraging when we start to feel down when our friends leave or relationships fail.
@@crystalgrose it is true though. We don't belong to everyone. Each one of us belongs to that one and only one person. The one that is for you will always find you.😊❤❤
Very useful resource. Thank you! I was uncomfortable with the comment about the high school girlfriend tho. It would have been wiser to present it with a little bit of compassion toward her and her family.
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. (1 Corinthians 7:9, KJV) Didn’t see burn with passion. It could be burn in hell.
I would marry Daniel if I know it is love or something else cause I haven't seen him for years and no money can let me be with my husband that I love and married in2017 and went bad divorce I didn't want I wanted to stay marry to my husband that I waited for years to have but so much has happen that I don't know if he marry me cause of love and never leave me again
Completely understand the confusion. His Dad wanted to reinforce the fact that marriage is permanent. The opportunity to run on the wedding day was to challenge whether or not there was any doubt in his mind. If he accepted the keys it would reveal he wasn't ready to give up his life for his bride.
Thank you for wonderful message, it really helpful.. But my question is, what if your parents didn't approve of the guy only because he is from another tribe ???
Hello gentleman. Mr right is not 100% perfection but; -One who loves God and is improving daily in God-likeness (read Galatians 5:22-23). - one who knows to an extent what he wants to accomplish in life based on God's direction on ur life's purpose cause everything made by God has a purpose (read Jeremiah 1:5) - One who studies the bible daily to learn God's way of doing things generally and God's way of doing marriage and to unlearn the things that are not of God. - one who is consciously been trained by reading godly Christian literature/listening to biblically based messages such as this to gain direction - one is self developing in education, business or career wise in order to be responsible - one who is not afraid to be accountable have godly mentors
Thanks for commenting Bridgette. One of the best things we can do when going into the relationship is focusing on how we can help come to a solution, not just pointing out a problem! Hopefully through the dating process you both can have these conversations!

I wouldn't want my dad paying a guy to take me out. Taking me out should come from his own money. If a man doesn't have his own, no thanks. I'm not saying we have to go to the most expensive places, but no one should have to give him money to take a date out. if the dad is going to give money, he should give it to his daughter. Just my opinion.
When the LORD says it is not good for man to be alone... HE meant it. HE says I will make for him a suitable (ezer kenegdo) help meet. Suitable adaptable & befitting. The Holy Spirit is a helper a comforter a teacher and more... the Holy Spirit is NOT a spouse. Nor replaces the need for a spouse. Ideally one would have a spouse who is filled with and led by the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote what he wrote but Paul's thoughts & opinions on marriage are his own.

Confused. On your wedding day your dad says run. Did you run. A year earlier he said go keep her... really unclear...

As a 19 year old guy this is nice but frustrating all girls truly have to do is wait for mr.right but what does one do to become mr.right?

Women are abusive too. Please start addressing that aspect as well.
They can be indeed..
True! But why does this guy sound like Ernie from Sesame Street?
I dated for over 2 yrs & I see most of our problems are his fam! I came from a large fam & he's an only child! He's kinda self centered!!!

Pastor Jeff. What's your email? I love your sermons
We'd love to have you join our community either in our Discord server or Facebook group!
How do I get your email. I need the stuff you compiled.
First question why is this in my suggestions?
I'm 20 minutes in... I don't recall hearing any of the questions.
So, what were the 4 questions?
1. Do your parents approve?
2. Is there spiritual compatibility?
3. Am I really ready to get married (Am I old enough? Am I running from something? Am I looking for a savior? How long have I been dating this person?)?
4. Am I physically attracted to this person?
