I got both the Andar Aspen and Ryan London at about the same time a couple of months ago. I found them both to be very well made cases and remarkably similar, but to me the Andar just felt "better" in hand. I sold the RL to a friend and bought another Andar in a different color to switch things up a bit from time to time. I've since added a Keyway Designs which I love as well!
I have both andar and RYAN London , for me they both fit the same way , the RYAN maybe a bit tighter . But i find them both equally good.
I have both Andar Aspen (Moss) and RL, but the open bottom one with leather camera ring. For my taste the RL has higher quality leather, maybe due to the vegetable tanned leather vs chrome tanned.
In general, I like the open bottom/leather camera rings more as I’ve tried a lot of cases. The metal camera ring isn’t nice to hear when putting your phone on surfaces, and the black coating starts chipping off within weeks. That’s why I prefer BS / RL over my Andar case.
Nothing beats the quality per dollar of Andar though, I agree. But if you want the best, I’d look at BS/RL personally.
My favorite leather case is the Decoded clay case, which goes well with my natural titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Great , accurate review, and agree all comments. I have this case in tan to replace an Apple silicone in clay., preferring simple lightweight cases . The RL looks classier with a better grip and (to me) is the best alternative to the defunct Apple leather case
I really like how the Ryan London looks like but I'll stick to my Andar Aspen; great fit, great smell, great magsafe magnets and great price

I’ll stick to the andar, loved the red one but recently dropped it really hard on concrete slid about 10 feet and chewed up the leather so need to order another
Looks nice but then again, Andar has them beat in price and color options. Love my navy Aspen.
I have the Andar Aspen, and the metal ring around the camera lenses starts to chip a bit after awhile. I've had two of their cases and it happened on both, each time after 2-3 months. I'm looking for a replacement that won't chip, and I'm beginning to think the best option is one where the lip around the lenses is full leather, like on the Bullstrap and one model of the Ryan London. Have you experienced this chipping at all?
Nope I haven’t. I have a few Aspens and have had no issues.
Thanks for the reply. So strange that this has happened twice for me now. Someone else told me he's had the Aspen for a couple years and also hasn't had any issues. I do like the look of the black metal ring around the lenses (it grew on me), so I ordered a Ryan London last night, hoping I have better luck with it.@@Brians_tech

Nah they’re made in different parts of the world, different companies. Completely separate products.
I hear the RL is thinner and lighter than the Andar. I’m trying to find a leather case that doesn’t add bulk to the phone as i already have the max

I have the Ryan London in tan and the Andar in black, in my opinion they have the exact same fit. They likely all use the same base shell to wrap the leather around.
Both cases are about as good as each other. I do reckon the RL has ever so slightly better leather than the Andar, it’s A LOT stronger in smell.
The buttons are actually a little better in the RL too, Andar buttons have sharp edges whereas the RL are rounded nice and smooth. Minimal stuff though.
Your video definitely comes across somewhat biased I’m afraid. Kinda like a video from someone that wants to continue getting free stuff from Andar. Sorry. My opinion.
The fit is different, actually. It’s got nothing to do with getting free products from anyone. I’ve bought products from Andar and from Ryan London. My videos are completely honest and not biased towards any company for getting any products for free or not. All the companies I work with know that same thing. I don’t do reviews to get free products and they’re not based off free products. If the product is bad or needs work, I mention it in my video. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. In my opinion, the Andar is far better than the Ryan London. But again, my opinion. Either way, thanks for watching.
@@Brians_tech every RUclipsr says that but it’s only naturally to have an inherent bias towards companies you have a relationship with. I’m sure you can admit that. 100% bias free is a factual impossibility, it’s against human nature, anyone saying to the contrary is either naive or daft.
I feel the fit is incredibly similar, I think the viewers that also own both cases in these comments agree also. As does Tech Tee who even collaborates with Andar.

Check out the comments on the video. These are people who buy it with their own money. Most prefer the Aspen. But again, to each their own.

There are 2 more commentators in this comment section that own both cases and they both favour RL. The opinion of people that have both is more valid.
That said, I love the Andar. I’m using it now as I’m digging a black case.

Have had andar for 2 phones now hands down best case my last on on my 15 pro max didn’t last tho I dropped my phone really bad lol and slid on concrete chewed up the leather
@@gtiguy1992able ouch, yeah these leather cases look horrible after a drop on concrete. The protection is there, just not aesthetically good looking after a drop, it’s a trade off bro
It's not cheaper if you live outside of US, as you pay enormous shipping fees. They charged me 16 dollars for delivery in UK. I bought the Stone Gray IPhone case from Andar. I wanted to add the Airpods Pro case (the capsule), same stone gray colour, which looks amazing btw. But when I did that, it bumped the delivery cost to 44 dollars! That is ridiculous. So I sticked to the iPhone case only.
