Dear Seth Rogan, the people that do not like YOU are not anti-Semitic or white supremist, you're white and rich so...why even say that...they do not like you because you are entitled and put others down, you are not a good person. Enough with the ole trope its anti Semitism that you do not like my trash, no it's just trash, you happen to be born the way you are; and, that does not make you perfect. Grow up Seth.

Also just for an update: Just this month (July 2024) a man fell 25 ft or so, survived, but had to be evacuated by rescue boat and life flighted to a hospital. Another fell 40ft at Illinois canyon and died. Stay on trail, take it slow, and don't turn your life into another tragic story.

I live near here. I don’t know anyone who is scared to go. I do remember going on a field trip and hiking down to St. Louis Canyon and then having one of the teachers gather us where the bodies were found to take a group picture and then tell us three people were murdered right where we were sitting, which as little kids, most of us didn’t know anything about this. We stood in the canyon as teachers told us about the murders and then walked out of the canyon and ate lunch. I have had many field trips to Starved Rock, but that was the most memorable.

I live near Starved Rock. No one is afraid to go to Starved Rock. Right off the bat, Steve and Rod who think they know everything spouting off. The evidence has just been submitted for DNA. Why would a guilty man, who is out of prison, push this. There's some sketchy info with the husbands, and then Smoky's sister talked about it. This case made a couple of people's careers. I believe they ruined an innocent man's life.

I believe you are right, partially right. Chester WAS complacent & Chester had some knowledge of the true perpetrators of this crime and he kept his mouth shut & took the weight for those involved. But the fact remains he is still alive and SO VERY FEW even survive that long let alone almost 60 years in the can! He never gave up and he is still on the earth because of a reason and FOR A REASON! And soon enough that reason will be brought forth when the DNA testing has concluded and the results are released to the public. STAY TUNED, this is far from over.
My thoughts, it was The Greek Spiros, he had some screws loose since birth! He has passed as has everyone involved in this case except for the retired judge who was an investigator and Chester himself.
The irony in that fact cannot be ignored.

Most people today in IL havent even heard of these murders and therefore arent afraid of going to Starved Rock.
One time when I was at Starved Rock, I wanted to look at one of the trail maps that are located at different points on every trail. I couldn't see the map because there were too many people in the way. So I said to my buddy "That's St. Luois Canyon where they found the 3 murdered women!" Everyone cleared and some old housewife gave me a look of disgust. I'm positive they just thought I was just trying to say something false and disturbing. But little do they k ow it's true like most clueless visitors.
You can tell people are clueless because every time I go into St Loius Canyon, there are people, especially kids, sitting in the small enclave that the 3 bodies were found. Most people wouldn't do that if they knew its history.

What a strange thing to say "he's not innocent". Most people aren't innocent but that doesn't make them guilty. Seems like a very passive statement from the ex-cop, it might just be out-of-context but usually you'd be impassioned, e.g. "he's guilty!".

Oh wow. Was really amazed how unbiased the film making was in the first 2 episodes. Almost feels like by the episode 3 - the film is to erase the “reasonable doubt” and clearing name of people’s who were in charge of convicting. Suddenly what was told in the confession or what the law enforcement was saying had value ? So confusing. And no DNA tests results ? 😀 No real answers in this documentary, really. Also Steve Stout was so unpleasant and arrogant.
