I watched every single movie she was in and bought each one to support her in her roles. When I heard she passed I was just in utter shock and disbelieve. Even till this day I am not over her death as she was so young an had so much to live for. RIP Britney, you will forever be missed. 💜
I believe it's called beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Two different kinds of pretty; whichever one you find prettier is called "preference", not "fact."
I think its because Paltrow is skinny as hell or she is well connected through her parents or both. The early 2000s malnourished looking actresses were adored for some effed up reason.
@@OneBanksManor uh I remember being a fan of her back in the day. She had some pretty good film credits. It felt like she was rising more than anything else

Uhhh, I still miss her so much... She was... She had the purity and curiosity of a child and yet the wisdom of an old woman. She was everything that Holywood can't be, and yet she somehow made it there, like a rare alpine flower growing on a concrete city building.
From the trailer it looks like they're going with a true crime angle with the mysterious whodunnit aspect, but it obscures the responsibility that the paparazzi and media outlets had in her struggles.
Exactly. Media still profiting and exploiting her even in death. So sad that these people aren’t allowed to be at peace even when they are no longer with us.
She played a now ironic title role in a little seen film called “The Dead Girl” not long before she passed. It demonstrated her true potential as an actress. Her death was probably viewed as another victim of Hollywood excess, but was more likely criminal than tragic.
She was brilliant in Dead Girl. These are the type of projects she should've been offered, towards the end. She was evolving and, I believe, would've continued to flourish as an actress. I, too, think there is a 'criminal' element to her death.
It's so heartbreaking that Brittany died so young. She was so talented and beautiful. I didn't know the hold her husband had over her. That's very strange. RIP Brittany ❤️
0:58 I wish the entertainment industry would stop gaslighting young people into losing themselves and forcing them into an uncomfortable mold. These are human beings.
You're not, lol she is an attractive woman, but to call her the standard, ummm, i dont think anyone is the "standard" for beauty. Thats why Hollywood sucks.
This literally breaks my heart. I’ve never met her in my life but I always liked her. I watch her on screen now and she brings a smile to my face. I still like her. This is so sad.
agreed. Also there's a pretty logical explanation. She wasn't a healthy 32 year old. Sadly she was underweight, probably not getting enough nutrients, got really sick and waited too long to get treatment. Its' tragic but it isn't supernatural
It’s tragic that her life ended so soon. I thought she was an amazing actress and her character as Daisy in Girl Interrupted was the most memorable for me. She really showed pain in her eyes in that role. So sad how young women trying to make a career become prey. 😔
Uptown Girls was my absolute favorite movie as a kid (before I was allowed to watch Clueless) and I remember bawling my eyes out after school when I heard she died. Such a beautiful soul with so much potential. She deserves real justice because I have always believed that her death was suspicious, I am just glad other people think so too. I’d also like to note that the home both Brittany and her husband passed away in was sold to them after Brittany Spears moved out and refused to go back because it had evil energy.
I've been waiting for something like this to be made about Brittany Murphy. Such a beautiful and underrated actress. First time I remember seeing her was in The Torkelsons/Almost Home show back in the day and then later in Clueless.
I absolutely loved the Torkelsons! I loved Dorothy Jane! I identified with her so much. And I loved watching The Babysitters Club right after lol. And I loved the Apple dumpling Gang when i was in grade school! Times were so much slower and simpler before the invention of the internet and social media!
@@DaarkDestiny Yes, the Babysitters Club!! I was Kristy with a little bit of Claudia. ;'D I totally agree with times being slower and simpler. This documentary was very accurate in its analyses, I especially liked it for having brought the LEGIST doctor who analyzed the body of Brittany Murphy, the doctor was clear and explained how she came to the conclusion that Murphy had pneumonia aggravated by the strong anemia. I was sad to know that, deep down, Brittany Murphy died because of being surrounded by a manipulative and malicious person. I was even sadder that Simon's mother and brother didn't recognize the kind of person he was and didn't stop in time. Besides Brittany, other women could have been spared the pain he caused. One question I missed in the documentary, although I know it's almost cruel to ask Simon's mother, was: was he sad by his wife's death, or, like the boy who kills his goose that lays the golden eggs, was because now his source of income has ceased? Anyway, good documentary, HBO.
You are gullible and simply incorrect. The mother mentioned around Simon is Brittany's mother which makes the claims of almost everyone in this, absolutely ridiculous! There was no manipulation, simply a happy marriage, unfortunate bout of pneumonia and pneumonia is always very deadly. There was no supporting evidence to all these people claiming he was some kind of evil controller, just that he was a grieving widow whose character was severely attacked by these idiots baseless claims!
How could people considered Brittany not pretty or beautiful? She radiates sunshine and beauty. I've loved her in so many films, my favourite are Uptown Girl, Ramen Girl, and Clueless.
I think he means by Hollywood Standards. She was "girl next door" pretty which is incredibly pretty but Hollywood often expects their leading women to be overtly sexy and when they don't fit that expectation they get eaten up. Hollywood was cruel to Brittany and many others. Its a poisonous place.
I just finished the documentary and I am just blown away. What a terrible loss. She was such a beautiful person and it is still devastating that she's gone.
There are many celebrities who died or were murdered, even no one knows what really happened to them. Recently Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away but that was not a suicide, it was a murder.
Awww I'm so glad she's being honored in and her life celebrated in a documentary. I always remember, and for some reason I feel a connection with her. Brittany and Aaliyah, although very different stories, always have a special in my heart ♥
I've been wondering this EXACT thing since she passed away and I've always been amazed that more wasn't said about her. She was a phenomenal actress, gorgeous and talented. I'm sure she'd have gone on to do lots of exciting and interesting projects.
Definitely an underrated talent and huge loss to the business. Gone way too soon and did so much in her short career. 8 mile and my personal favorite her role in Sin City just to name few. I can only imagine where she would be now had things gone differently but in my opinion i feel she would have made a great Harley Quinn but that's just me
She had a lot of work done to go from homely to pretty. People seem to think it’s a mortal sin to admit that, but she was very aware of her transformation. It’s sad she didn’t get to enjoy being comfortable in her own skin, getting older, without pressure or issues. May she Rest In Peace.
She was more than pretty. She was beautiful. Hollywood “standard pretty” is a blow up plastic surgery Barbie. So It’s a compliment to Brittany that was said about her. RIP 🙏❤

I LOVED HER!!!! I don't know who thought she wasn't pretty...they were right...she was STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL! I remember always looking at her and honestly being mesmerized by her looks.
I always felt that Brittany was too sweet and vulnerable for Hollywood. You have to be so thick-skinned and detached to survive in that business, especially the further on we go with social media and relentless public scrutiny. And Brittany gave the impression that she was kind and caring - and that's why she was vulnerable. Someone like that should have a strong support system to make it... and she had the exact opposite.
So tragic. So sad. She is one of my favourite actresses. I remember where I was when I found out she died. I loved her in so many roles. RIP Brittany Murphy.
I am not jumping on the bandwagon in agreeing on Brittany's character and personality as claimed in this video or, as many people do... One can easily see and feel her tenderness, her genuine personality even in movies. I agree with what this video said about her. Michael Douglas once said about Brittany, after they had worked together in "Don't Say A Word,": "The camera loves her." I agree. That is why honest, genuine people liked her so much.
“Something made her sick. A healthy 32yr old doesn’t just die.” Right, I think that’s why the “getting sick” part is kinda important there … poor editing. Brittany Murphy was a great actress though & hopefully this isn’t just a conspiracy theories version of “Framing Britney”, but has a lot of facts and heart since she has passed & only has her legacy left.
@@tmc31390 that’s literally what “Framing Britney” was, a documentary that focused on a particular aspect and had a clear objective. It was incredibly swaying in ultimately a positive way, since Britney’s getting her life back now but was only proved true because Britney is alive to come forth & say her truth. Since Brittany & her husband have passed, to potentially make a show that focuses on demonizing & speculating about people that can’t give their side can result in nothing but conspiracy theories and speculation if they don’t come with actual receipts and are just interviewing ppl.
@@tmc31390 ... uh, to say the perpetuation of hearsay is bad & hopefully thorough research & investigation will play a larger role in this piece than anecdotes. Was that not clear for you?
They played the clip saying that after insinuating that she had an eating disorder, which do in fact make you sick and can lead to your heart just giving out, even in a young person. I guess they were just trying to build confusion in the trailer.
I used to be a big fan of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels. In my head I cast Brittany Murphy as Stephanie. I bet that One for the Money would’ve been a huge hit with Brittany and that it could’ve become a franchise with her in the lead role instead of being the one-off clunker that it was. I was so saddened by Brittany’s untimely death.
I was reading through the comments and I was honestly surprised your's was pretty much the only one that brought him up. IMHO he had so much to do with her death and my guess is that if he had not died himself, at some point they may have re-opened the death investigation. Or at least started looking more deeply into it. I have always felt he had much to do with her untimely death.
"you have to be Gweneth Paltrow" is the saddest thing I've ever heard. Paltrow is so....unspecial, and would even go as far as to describe her as "ridiculous" right now. What a plain, vanilla, boring person to try to compare yourself to or aspire to be like. I hate that Brittany got caught up with that man...was anyone supporting her or having her back? Its always such a similar story of predatory men ruining and ending the lives of stars on earth. Oftentimes family members are complicit. Can't wait to see this. She deserves it. RIP
Bob Marley have you seen what Gweneth is doing with her company Goop? It’s not only ridiculous but dangerous. And yes, I find her bland otherwise. That’s just my opinion. 🤷🏽♀️
Bob Marley I think she’ll be ok. Me saying she’s bland and unspecial, and ridiculous is a pretty far reach for “public shaming”. And my point isn’t to shame anyone, it’s pointing out how ridiculous it is to hold gweneth as a standard for what you need to be like…because she is bland lol especially compared to Brittany
I knew people that worked with her and they said she was a joy! I don't know if I agree with this entirely... "healthy" anyone can collapse and not recover. 22, 32, 42, 52... any age. It took me this many years to start watching her movies again without feeling like I lost an onscreen sister like talent. I hope the parents are in this doc.

The first movie I ever saw her in when I was little was “Clueless” and I immediately fell in love with her acting and just thought she was awesome on the show “Sister,Sister” plus more. I watched every single movie she was in and bought each one to support her in her roles. When I heard she passed I was just in utter shock and disbelieve. Even till this day I am not over her death as she was so young an had so much to live for. RIP Britney, you will forever be missed. 💜
in what world is Gwyneth Paltrow prettier than Brittany Murphy?
hollyweird is really crazy
Right! Maybe it was because she wasn’t rail think and blonde.
Maybe because she wasn't spanked by Harvey...?
@@karmaautomotive7531 literally tho
I believe it's called beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Two different kinds of pretty; whichever one you find prettier is called "preference", not "fact."
I think its because Paltrow is skinny as hell or she is well connected through her parents or both. The early 2000s malnourished looking actresses were adored for some effed up reason.
It broke my heart when I learned when she passed away. Loved her in almost every TV show or movie she was in
Brittany was so sweet and talented. So sad her life got cut short. Imagine all of the amazing movies she could've been in today 💖
She would had great career and find true love not Simon
@@OneBanksManor That's what we thought about Winona Ryder too.
@@OneBanksManor uh I remember being a fan of her back in the day. She had some pretty good film credits. It felt like she was rising more than anything else
remember river pheonix ? That was sad too. But i had no idea about mold and her husband passed away months later with same type of pneumonia.
Id like to think that, but with all the woke garbage today...her ability would have been tainted by shitty writing.
I met Brittany Murphy in Heathrow airport in 2005- she was such a humble and kind spirited woman...So sad that her life ended so tragically!! 😪
She is missed everyday. The world was robbed of her talent and infinite potential. X
Wow I had no idea she was only 32. I remember being 17yrs old when I heard about her death very briefly around Christmas time on the news. I am now 29. life is so precious & short. Rip Britney Murphy. 🌹🌷💐
omg i’m the same age as you and that’s exactly how I felt right now 😢 such a sad story, she was still so young
She died on my 13th birthday. So tragic. 😭
I just had the same realization! I'm almost 29 too and realizing how young she actually was. So sad.
I'm 30 and this is beyond sad. Such a tragedy, life indeed is prescious but oh so short and painfull

Brittany was amazing in "Dont say a word". Completely underrated as an actress.
One of my favorite Brittany Murphy performances
"Don't Say a Word" was a terrible film. She was a great actress but that movie SUCKED!
Oh my gosh I forgot about this one! So good!
@@Mmmkay10 it was not horrible but it was not the best!
@@QueenK88 Nah...it was pretty bad!
I remember the news of her death as if it was just yesterday, she was talented but underrated. I especially enjoyed her roles in Clueless and Girl Interrupted.
You have to see her in Drop Dead Gorgeous with Kirsten Dunst. It's a mockumentary about a beauty pageant and it is nothing short of brilliant.
Yeah I was a sophomore in college and was so bummed when I heard the news. I cried.
Just saw clueless
Loved her character
"You are a virgin,who can't drive "
Sorry but my favorite line
Her voicing Gloria in Happy Feet 🤧🤧 that voice was so angelical, this was always one of my favorites movies and after her passing I always cry everytime she sings. She was the whole package and her energy and talent is truly missed.

I watched happy feet years ago and I didn't even know who was singing & voicing at first & I'm like wow so it was her who was voicing her she actually did phenomenal in the movie the first one was nice I feel like she deserved her flowers for doing this she was chill kind gentle generous kind soul in this world so sad her life was taken too soon prayers to your family Brittany
Uhhh, I still miss her so much... She was... She had the purity and curiosity of a child and yet the wisdom of an old woman. She was everything that Holywood can't be, and yet she somehow made it there, like a rare alpine flower growing on a concrete city building.
😢💖
Wow
Damn. That cut through my heart. I miss her 🥺
From the trailer it looks like they're going with a true crime angle with the mysterious whodunnit aspect, but it obscures the responsibility that the paparazzi and media outlets had in her struggles.
Exactly. Media still profiting and exploiting her even in death.
So sad that these people aren’t allowed to be at peace even when they are no longer with us.
Yup . It drove her straight into him.

What happened? She was blood sacrificed by the Hollywood elite that’s what happened.
Yep blame her husband who also died the same way Hollywood is evil
She played a now ironic title role in a little seen film called “The Dead Girl” not long before she passed. It demonstrated her true potential as an actress. Her death was probably viewed as another victim of Hollywood excess, but was more likely criminal than tragic.
She was brilliant in Dead Girl. These are the type of projects she should've been offered, towards the end. She was evolving and, I believe, would've continued to flourish as an actress.
I, too, think there is a 'criminal' element to her death.
That was a great movie, gritty and sad but good.
What happened? She was blood sacrificed by the Hollywood elite that’s what happened.
The scene in girl interrupted at the end especially the fact it released exactly ten years after her death.
"She was not a typical pretty girl"? What? She was super pretty. Way more beautiful than every Gwyneth Paltrow in this world.
She was incredible in every way, I always believed she would win an Oscar, don’t say a word, girl interrupted, 8 mile, she was on her way, R.I.P.
This absolutely breaks my heart, thank god someone made a documentary about her
It's not really about her, it's about her death. This feels wrong.
It's so heartbreaking that Brittany died so young. She was so talented and beautiful. I didn't know the hold her husband had over her. That's very strange. RIP Brittany ❤️
She die from mold on the house and not her husband. Her husband passed away with the same illness less then a year after her.

I'm glad her story is being told!!! She had the x factor, her smile was so bright! How come she ended up with this guy...

Am I the only person on earth that doesn’t find Gwyneth Paltrow attractive in anyway?(that also includes her personality). Britney was adorable.
I’m with you on that. Gwyneth only got as far as she did because of her famous parents.
You're not, lol she is an attractive woman, but to call her the standard, ummm, i dont think anyone is the "standard" for beauty. Thats why Hollywood sucks.
ok but why would you bring gwyneth paltrow in this?
@@b.t02 Because the video did first? You may have missed one of the interviewees mention her.

This literally breaks my heart. I’ve never met her in my life but I always liked her. I watch her on screen now and she brings a smile to my face. I still like her. This is so sad.
“You’re a virgin who can’t drive” should be placed in the National Archives of famous quotes.
This looks interesting - but if it's going to be clips of people on Zoom saying "iS tHe HouSE CuRsed?!?" then I'm not sure it will hit the mark.
Thank you, that's what I was thinking
You are absolutely right that statement "is the house cursed" comes across as though they are out to sensationalize the tragedy with this documentary.
That’s not zoom that seems like RUclipsr’s or tiktokers talking about the situation while doing their makeup or whatnot.
agreed. Also there's a pretty logical explanation. She wasn't a healthy 32 year old. Sadly she was underweight, probably not getting enough nutrients, got really sick and waited too long to get treatment. Its' tragic but it isn't supernatural
Apparently the house was filled with black mold. That can make people extremely sick, possibly even kill you if you’re immune compromised.
It’s tragic that her life ended so soon. I thought she was an amazing actress and her character as Daisy in Girl Interrupted was the most memorable for me. She really showed pain in her eyes in that role. So sad how young women trying to make a career become prey. 😔
I miss Brittany Murphy. Her star was still rising when she passed away, that one of the saddest parts. She still had so much more to offer.
She had a way lighting up the screen even in her serious roles. She is missed, loved and there was and will be no one like her. 💔 🥺😔💙
This is still so sad and bizarre how she passed away. She was truly talented. Riding in Cars with Boys is my favorite she was so good

I've been waiting for something like this to be made about Brittany Murphy. Such a beautiful and underrated actress. First time I remember seeing her was in The Torkelsons/Almost Home show back in the day and then later in Clueless.
I loved The Torkelsons! I've never met anyone else who watched that show. Your comment made me happy. :)
I remembered her from Sister Sister and Boy Meets World! I was so excited when she popped up in Clueless ✨
I was Kristy with a little bit of Claudia. ;'D
I totally agree with times being slower and simpler. My sister recently asked if my ADD is getting progressively worse and I was like, "Yeah! I have 13 different tabs open and am listening to a tv show while I do genealogy. My attention span is much shorter!" I never have a second of boredom! I can scroll through the news feed while going to the bathroom. Every second is filled. I do miss the simpler times. Not enough to, you know, turn the technology off, but still. ;)
There's a fan made doc on YT called "The Forgotten Legacy of Brittany Murphy" that is fairly comprehensive and well done.
Unfortunately this Brittany was never freed from her captor.
I’ve been in complete tears through these episodes… literally each of them.. I’m so heartbroken that she’s gone.. she was seriously one of my favorite actresses growing up and when I heard she had passed I just remember bawling like a baby.. rest in paradise you beautiful queen… forever missed… gone too soon… #ripbrittanymurphy 💜
So we're *just gonna open* these old wounds
Yep, hollywierd is going to make money off of her death.
Not pretty? She was fucking gorgeous! And it stood out in Clueless, first time introduced to her.
He meant Hollywood standards I don’t believe that’s what HE TRULY thought he telling the truth
I just finished the documentary and I am just blown away. What a terrible loss. She was such a beautiful person and it is still devastating that she's gone.
She was a great actress and actually a pretty decent singer also. I love that innocence and fragility that shows through her work.

You have to be so thick-skinned and detached to survive in that business, especially the further on we go with social media and relentless public scrutiny. And Brittany gave the impression that she was kind and caring - and that's why she was vulnerable. Someone like that should have a strong support system to make it... and she had the exact opposite.

Brittany Murphy was a great actress though & hopefully this isn’t just a conspiracy theories version of “Framing Britney”, but has a lot of facts and heart since she has passed & only has her legacy left.
No one would be framing Brittany? If anything, this could shine a brighter light on her husband and his possible role in Brittany’s death.
