What is considered a crime is also down and therefore the crime statistics will show crime is nonexistent in New York City. So there could be rampant crime in a city and it’s still reporting that time is low as long as the government officials, the side that certain crimes are no longer actual crimes in their city… These people are being gaslit by their own government, and claiming that these people are unaware of what’s going on… I’m sorry they do and they are trying to make things look good on paper without having to deal with the real issues and leaving you guys in the lurch all the wild gaslighting you saying there are no problems and I’m so sorry. So that’s the plan. Brilliant for picking up on that evil strategy for running down an area so you can buy up neighborhoods for pennies. Only a master-minded thief could come up with that plot. This will cause the thieves to realize retribution pays more and it is accompanied with sorrow, grief, regret and a curse for stealing land.
Another implication of the rampant crime is that businesses are going cash only of their own accord. I am seeing more signs saying “card only” for the “safety of employees”. It will be a Seemless transition to the new cashless surveillance state.

Former NY’er here. I used to visit once, sometimes twice a year. I miss the energy, culture and vibrancy of NYC. Every time I get the urge to book a trip, you drop a new video and it brings me back to reality. 😬
I'm here as a former NY'er - its not as bad as media including this pages makes it out to be. The stories are real but if you're a NY'er you'll be ok. It's not the 90's but it is up and IMO its due to the mentally ill.
Well, you are playing Russian Roulette so is it worth it? A crazy guy threw a log at a woman's head sending her to the hospital. In Chicago a couple was attacked from behind with black teens screaming these are our streets, they tore hair from the woman who was pregnant, they kicked her in the stomach and she lost her baby. 3pm and 8:30 pm off of Michicagan Ave. Is it worth it? no.
My niece is going to school in NYC and was in the subway and got slapped on the train. When she tried to say something, the man slapped her again and no one of course helped her. So, no…it’s not safe. Thanks for bringing attention to this. I appreciate your channel. ❤
If such incident happened in a red state, people would intervene immediately. Let women in blue states defend themselves. They have said they don't need men.
That’s awful.. nowadays everyone has their head down on their cellphones.. that’s their excuse… Back in the 90s someone would have given them street justice.. I witnessed it many times! Same as a Red state now!

I think its perfectly feasible that much of our policy makers themselves are sincere and honest about the idea that their disastrous ideology is somehow improving things, despite what everybody's eyes and ears actually tell them. They're just that braindead. That doesn't mean that the demolition of the social contract isn't intentional-- it absolutely is. But if you're going to burn the world down you're going to need both political grunts who believe they're helping, as well as the pretend opposition who have no real interest in helping. Sometimes the opposition is actually sincere, but in every instance any opposition is too weak to actually retain enough power to create change. And you can forget about somebody coming along that's cunning enough to acquire that necessary power in the first place.
Sorry Mayor Adams, NYC is out of control! It’s becoming the city depicted in the movie “Escape from New York “, a walled off decayed dystopian city filled with criminals. I once had the aspiration of visiting NYC to take in a Broadway Show, eat in a fancy restaurant and stay in a luxury hotel, but the thought of that is now totally erased. Who in their right mind would want to go there today.
Safest big city for criminals to operate while renowned business people are indicted with make up charges. I’d never expected to see this mad max environment in my lifetime. Thank you Minor Adams!!
As a mta operator in Los Angeles I can tell you crime most likely didn’t go down. People don’t report half of the stuff and when they do, they take hours for officers to show up. If crime was down the national guard wouldn’t be there. Rule number one don’t believe the government or the officials because they only tell you what they want to. They lie through their teeth majority of the time.
'Zackly. They collect the crime data. They count the crime data. They interpret the crime data. Then they give you a happy number!! Who believes that?? Really, who is that nairve?
Exactly…. If the government talking go look at how they got the information and verify how extensively the statistics researched or what was reported . If they are only reporting serious crimes, then crime could be going up in your city with minor felonies or crimes, and that affects people every day and regular people who can’t afford to go to court and handle all this and figure out where these people are …. Eventually will collapse, but by that point it’s so bad that you really don’t want to get to that point … it would be better to do something about it now before it’s too late

The point is to get people clamoring for more police, more surveillance, more corporate security and more militarized police. NYC will be the first jurisdiction to become a Police State within the next 1-3 years.
Need to comment on statistics on numbers of crimes that aren’t even reported due widespread refusals by DA’s to hold those charged pending bail, or even bring charges at all!
Mayor Adams claiming NY is safe and that there isn’t a crime issue is like a Dentist telling a cancer patient they no longer have cancer because they’re in chemo.
You know, I find it extremely funny the mayor Adams sits there and says crime is not out of control, but yet they have did National Guard in the subways. They’ve never brought the National Guard in to protect people in the subways ever before you bring the national Guardian when you have a natural disaster
Calling in the National Guard is mere theater. It makes NYC's mayor believe he is doing something when he isn't. Stationing cops and troops in pairs or double pairs merely moves the crime to other locations. To get crime down requires arresting, quickly prosecuting, and prison time.
Hey Cash, love the video and stats you report. I was just going to state 5:22 what it appears many others have already. A blind person can see crime is definitely NOT down. The politicians can only report crime is down, because they don’t arrest or more important convict anyone for crime anymore. I was at a play a month ago in NYC. When it was let out a deranged man was harassing and getting into peoples faces while a police car with 2 police officers just sat their and watched. My wife and I went up to the police car and reported what was happening and was told they are aware but can not do anything about unless the man actually physically attacks someone. I believe they are either being told to ignor certain crimes or they feel its not worth doing the paperwork because the person will be let out in a few hours to do it all again.
I had someone break into my vehicle two days in a row and use it to sleep in. The second day I caught them and called the police. They came out and said I could press charges but he would be released before they finished the paperwork. Or I could let them give him a warning. I later had that vehicle intentionally destroyed by someone. This was in California. Thanks Democrats. The state I was born in has been ruined.
Last week Eric Adams is touting that all of the problems in NYC is just unreal. The mayor is trying to get ready for his reelection campaign. Eric Adams is being UNTRUTHFUL!!!
It's reported crime that's down. In LA, my car has been broken into three times. Police won't come out anymore. You have to file a police report at the station. They now offer online filing for police reports. But my report was refused 8 times. It was finally accepted once I removed the list of items stolen. I even went to the police station to help me correct the online report. They were helpful and told me that once it's filed online, it's up to a third party that reviews the reports. And the online report the police officer helped correct was also rejected.
They are rejecting the police reports because they want the crime statistics to look less than they really are. I am so thankful I live in Florida where we have law and order. There is crime everywhere you go but here in Florida they are prosecuted and sent to jail.
WOW😂 and California Yuppies still have the audacity to say "We can save NYC, We aren't the problem & Blah blah Blah" and when i ask them to explain the chaos in LA they always try to change the topic.
They will force the middle class out. The rich will take over. Change the laws to VERY strict and subjugate the remaining poor populace. Paradise foe the rich.
When you have little or no penalties, your criminals will have little or no respect for laws. And it is not just New York! Chicago has the same problem!
Having an “open door” policy on crime isn’t going to help reduce overall crime. The majority of crimes are NOT being reported. If there’s no incarceration or bail for an arrest why should a criminal stop what they’re doing? The laws need to change sooner than later.
After working in IT for over 30 years, I have observed data manipulation to reflect desired outcomes. I have also witnessed instances where data was doctored to pass audits without detection. Consequently, I am cautious about trusting statistics unless I can thoroughly examine the source of the input data.
It’s kind of scary how many people don’t recognize that straight out of the book “1984”… Goes to show how unread most of the populous is today. When I hear people say things like that, my ears up (along with a lot of other things from many dystopian books)… and I recognize that it is something that should not be said. The sad thing is a lot of people are used to being gaslit and will probably just take it and ignore the problem . The day we get tired of it is the day your problems end in that city… It will require you to make some different political and social economic choices that are going to be hard. Will save your city. I hope you don’t go the way of Detroit… that would be sad
Like the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd back in January 2017. Remember when he insisted it was the largest ever despite photographic evidence to the contrary? But speaking of NYC crime, how many murders have there been so far this year? How many were there at this point last year?
So the mayor of NYC is 'pushing back' on the idea that crime is out of control YET he's mega-hiring more security? GOT IT! Actions speak louder than words, guys.
Mayor Adan’s says that NYC is the safest city in America but he doesn’t even ride the subway. The previous mayor who was a billionaire ride the subway all the time with his guards. We saw him on the train.
At Least the last mayor was aware that the subways were very dangerous across all of NYC (not just Manhattan) and not like the College students favorite Mayor: Dipshit Adams refuses to acknowledge the issue of riding the subways but yet wants everyone to get rid of their cars so they could pick a bike lane
WHO wants to? The very same folks that would vote for Trump even if he stood in the middle of 5th Avenue and shot someone, as he famously bragged back in 2016. In other words, his cult-followers. That’s who.
The fact that so many businesses are closing and leaving the city because of theft says to me that crime is out of control. The revolving door justice system is a joke, too.
There was a guy waving a knife around in my girlfriend's subway train home, telling people to get off their phone and getting in their face. Most people ran out the cart, even if they called the police nothing would have been done. How is anyone going to feel safe in a city that rewards criminals over citizens.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain. Edit: this book changed my life for the better.
You are umbelievably thorough in your reporting. This catch n release program is insane. If there is no punishment, why wouldn't crime increase. Crimminals are on the loose as goid citizens pay the consequences.
*I wonder how many locals see Mr. Jordan on the street while he's filming and say to themselves "There's that blonde dude again, talking into an empty newspaper receptacle."* 😅
Crime is down not because crime is down, but because they aren’t arresting criminals and a lot of crime is going unreported due to the big gap that exists between the police and the public.
Hey Cash, I watch your RUclips channel even though I am from the UK. I have just landed back on UK soil after my vacation in NYC visiting family & kept seeing news reports of attacks & muggings, especially in Central Park. I used the subway most days but not at night time but felt okay walking around around Manhattan. I did notice all the chained up shop items, which is a shame, but what can you do! It won't stop me from visiting. Crime is everywhere, London is no exception, but I hope it doesn't get out of control to the point that our shop items are being looted & chained up too. Stay safe.
In 2014 took my mom to NY. She was 87. Stayed in Brooklyn rode subway every day. Not being used to NY some times we got confused. The amount of people that offered to help was amazing. I'm sure that type of people are still there but today I wouldn't go to NY even if I had a armored car. The mil. is just there so people get used to it. A country did the same thing in Europe in the 30's look how that turned out for it's population.
In the 90s a family visited from Canada and went to NYC. In Manhattan someone kicked the father down, and another person pretended to help him up, just to pickpocket him. He couldn't legally drive back to Canada because his license was gone. Our family had to help him get to a consulate or whatever to get permission to drive his eife and kids back to Canada. Nobody knows this story, I'm sure my parents in their old age have forgotten this story too. And my sister who is blue no matter who will deny that ever existed.
I think his point is that it was not reported and is now remembered by only one person. The numbers were not reported correctly then either. This difference between crimes acted and crimes reported has been going on a long time.
Us Oklahomans are starting to see people from NY moving here just like Californians and some from Illinois too. I just hope they don't try and vote for the same destructive policies that ruined their cities 😐
You do an incredible job informing the world if not the rest of the US of the everyday problems in NYC... most people have no idea of what is going on in the Big City USA!
This gets rid of the middle class because they get sick of it. Then the rich take over. Change the laws to very strict and create a paradise for the rich.
It’s not cognitive dissonance, they know what they’re doing. But for the right price you can make them say and support anything. They’re counting their money at the expense of the people.
Born in NYC in 1980. I was physically assaulted twice from then until the summer of love 2020. Since then… I’ve been violently assaulted four times, had my life believably threatened, been encircled by a group of young (cough) “men” who attempted to intimidate me, and have stopped two females in my life from being robbed and/or assaulted. I reported not a single one of these events to the police because it will just be a waste of my time. And almost every family or friend I share these stories with has told me they have had AT LEAST one similar attack. None reported. You’ll never get honest crime stats in an area where the residents know that their justice system will lower felony crimes down to misdemeanors and seek to let the criminals off with little to no jail time. If you want real world NYC crime rates… multiply any number you see by 2-5x and you’ll be closer to reality. Oh… and all of the above situations I mentioned… This doesn’t include the dozens more I WOULD HAVE encountered had I not stopped riding the subway and started watching my surroundings much more carefully. I’ve crossed the street or changed directions because I saw something sketchy a few hundred feet in front of me at least 15-20 times since 2020. Something I almost never did the last 44 years. And now I walk or take Uber if a place is far… RARELY opting for the subway. I have no doubt I would have been assaulted or confronted at least a few more times than listed above had I not started walking with my head on a swivel and taken active measures to avoid it when I see something even remotely off. Adams and anybody else who tells me I’ve just been watching too many social media videos can gf themselves. Been sucker punched, had chemicals thrown on me, shoved to the ground, chased, lunged at, encircled, and harassed. And as of this week, three of my pharmacies have been closed down. Yes THREE. In midtown Manhattan. Surrounded by more than enough people to financially support their business. Gone. Because of theft, robbery, and safety. Seriously… f anyone trying to tell me this isn’t happening. Ridiculous.

What is considered a crime is also down and therefore the crime statistics will show crime is nonexistent in New York City.
So there could be rampant crime in a city and it’s still reporting that time is low as long as the government officials, the side that certain crimes are no longer actual crimes in their city…

Why arrest criminals if you can use them to lower property values so that your developer buddies can buy up entire neighborhoods for next to nothing?
Look at what blackrock is doing in Ukraine buying up all they can s0ame will happen here in time
So that’s the plan.
That's just another conspiracy theory, let me check real estate prices to prove it. Oh, wow, nevermind. 😂

For instance : if you are telling me about the inflation rate, but you don’t include groceries, household items, utilities, gas prices in the information gathered to tell me how bad inflation is… then it’s not a real number… it’s what you want it to be.
If you only include severe crime and crime reporting and none of the minor assaults, robberies, smaller crimes … I don’t have an accurate assessment of the overall crime rate in the area… sure no one wants to get murdered or raped or put in the hospital, but we also don’t want to get punched, mugged, robbed or bothered by minor crime either… that actually can affect you more profoundly in the day-to-day if it’s rampant.

But if you're going to burn the world down you're going to need both political grunts who believe they're helping, as well as the pretend opposition who have no real interest in helping. Sometimes the opposition is actually sincere, but in every instance any opposition is too weak to actually retain enough power to create change. My wife and I went up to the police car and reported what was happening and was told they are aware but can not do anything about unless the man actually physically attacks someone.

Oh… and all of the above situations I mentioned…
This doesn’t include the dozens more I WOULD HAVE encountered had I not stopped riding the subway and started watching my surroundings much more carefully.
Ridiculous.
U got what u voted for, stop voting democrat. U probably stood with BLM ✊🏿
