The key to the happiest experiences and the most beautiful impressions is just from the little thing in our eyes we take for granted. I like the reactions of the old man at the sunset. I wonder how the young boys with those glasses would feel if their parents bring them to the art gallery or a beautiful church with stained glasses or the tropical island. Even when you have the normal eyesight, it feels another life, looks more strange than seeing a heaven.
that's what I said while playing the video
Never thought I would cry at someone pointing out the balloon colors
Me either. I knew that a kid in my class used to cheat when it came to coloring things the right way. Learned later that he was colorblind. Learned, even later than that, most colorblind people are male but not always. Learned after that some people just see in greyscale.
How did he determine the colors if he had never seen them like this before?

What gets me is these adults have gone their whole lives without seeing the beauty of color! I am so glad they were able to see it at some point in their lives! These glasses should be FREE!!
Agree but some of them didn’t have this growing up so it’s a gift that now they can have an opportunity
Maybe one day with universal health care they will!

Well, somethinģs wrong with this one since logan pauls video isn tin
The brain goes into overdrive and neuronal circuits and highways that have been dormant since birth begin to function in an instant. Its so overwhelming, I can't even begin to imagine that initial experience.
Imagine if you blind and see the world for first time
On top of the neural signal overload it's also the fact that everything you've known wasn't what it was.
It's like when I watch the videos of people getting Cochlear implants and whatnot, the babies never cry but the older you are, the more your brain goes "what the heck!?"
@@that.ll_do_pig oh absolutely!! The experience is priceless!
I see everything in black and white. My wife bought me the glasses. The best surprise in my whole life. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT GIFT I HAVE EVER SEEN. PLEASE buy them for anyone who is colored blind
You know the change is profound when a grown man is instantly reduced to tears.
Compassion + Empathy + science. There is nothing on this Earth like it.
I’ve had my glasses for 3 years and they blew my mind the day I got them. An overwhelming unexplainable feeling. The ones with children tug on your heart strings. 🤘
How they can recognize the color names after wearing the glasses if previously they are color blind?
@@sandhyas7595 a lot of colorblindness isn't really "black and white". Most just have trouble differentiating between shades and vibrancy.
So, is this real? How does it work?
Gunawan Santoso I couldn’t begin to tell you “how” they work but I can confirm that they do work. To me the glasses made bright colors pop and catch my eye, which for a while made things kind of distracting seeing colors that I had basically never seen before. I know this doesn’t answer your question about the science behind it all, but all I have to give is a glimpse of my personal experience.
Sandhya S My personal color deficiency is pretty bad yet I can see things and know what color my wife would call them so I can tell you the color you see in things it just looks totally different to me. For me, basically I learned my colors from hearing other people say what color they were seeing and relating it to what I see. I still call things colors and get this deer in the headlights reactions from my kids, who think it’s funny to mess with me.
what always astonishes me is how they recognise the real colours names after trying the glasses...when previously they thought they were another colour!
I know! Like, how??
I am wondering about the same. It does not make any sense to me. I mean, if I was blind and then see a woman or a man I would recognize who is who easily. But this is totally a different level
I think people tell them about what colors should be and they might see colors that are similar to the originals if their the right hue and contrast
I think it depends on the level of color blindness. If its a very bright object and they are told what it is they can see a slight difference. And when they have the classes they recognize those differences again.
Like deafness, colour blindness isn't necessarily 100% in everyone with it. That said, even those who're completely blind to particular colours I'm sure can decipher them due to the previous association they had with the shades they _could_ see, and theoretical knowledge of colours and their placement on the spectrum.
Color is beauty, and beauty moves. These reactions/emotions are so raw that I can’t help but join in the awe of this amazing beauty we mostly take for granted 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
I just had my first child 5 months ago and am experiencing with her everyday seeing different things for the first time. The level of joy that these families must feel giving their loved ones something so beautiful yet something most take for granted is beyond description.

When my son was small and started to draw/paint, I was always surprised at the weird colours he chose. Lots of green, orange, dark browns. Took me a long time to understand he is completely colourblind. From what I heard, he doesn't even have the receptors needed for those glasses to work, otherwise I would spend my last penny on giving him the gift of colour. I personally can see hundreds of shades and paint. It pains me every day that he can't see what I am seeing.
People with no or very few limitations take these little things for granted. We need to cherish every moment and every little thing we have available to us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That first kids video made me bawl like a baby
It must be so overwhelming for them to realize how much they had missed. Bless the people that developed these glasses. They've changed so many lives
Each one hits so differently. I’ve seen the older guy video before where he’s just speechless and uncontrollably giddy and it was instantly understandable that a huge man could become a child again because he lived 50+ years of his life without typical color vision. But then these young kids instantly crying, able to name the colors immediately and being overwhelmed puts it into perspective. I can relate to an older man’s reaction because of my understanding of the passage of time. With the younger boys it was clearly a profound change but the lack of a relatable aspect made it almost more powerful to watch. Like, this thing they’re missing doesn’t take decades to spark overflowing emotion-it’s a big deal on its own. This really helped me remember to not take anything for granted.
that must be a mindblowing experience .. especially for the old ones
This is so beautiful. I can’t imagine a world without the colors I can see. It makes me so happy that we have the technology for colorblind people to experience seeing color. It’s so heartwarming, I love their reactions.💓❤️
“I’m not gonna get emotional” starts crying😭😭😭
Colors are honestly one of my favorite things. The right colors have the power to brighten up a day. Pink and purple skies... iridescent hummingbirds that come to our garden... the color palette of someone's home... It just brings me a lot of joy. What must it be like to live most of one's life without having experienced color? And then to suddenly be given the gift of seeing everything. It must be incredibly overwhelming ❤️
It's so touching to see adults excited as a little boy when they see colour for the first time!
This helps me today! Im in pain, nerve damage a degenerative disc, neuropathy and I'm sick of my house! I needed this bit of soul lifting sunshine!!
Get well soon mate.
Hope you r doing better now
I hope you are doing fine, mate.
Hey, 7 months old comment. Hope you're doing better than ever.
I think these videos really highlight how we’re doing on teaching men and boys how to handle emotions. When women are on these videos they get happy and seem bubbly and can seem excited. Men and boys literally can’t handle the emotional impact of the beauty of the world and are immediately overwhelmed. Also I love these videos. The sheer joy of these people is so infectious.
It's amazing how they know the colors without ever knowing what they really looked liked before.
Whats amazing is you can literally see the moment the thoughts and emotions/feelings we call life give way to full happiness. That simple luxury of sight and seeing colors is something we all forget to cherish. But to the ones who see for the first time is amazing.
Life is just a thought process.
As a colourblind person, I absolute feel this.
I would love to be able to see what I’ve been missing out on the past 31 years.
I don’t know much about color blindness, can you please explain? Are there no glasses for your specific colorblindness?
If you have not and are never able to see color, after wearing how would you know which color is which?
@@sunny-handa I am guessing there are slight slight differences in muted tones, or grays

This just shows you how important beauty is to humans. We need it
We can’t even comprehend what they are going through. 2:45 they don’t see what we see. To see the colors as they are for what they are. Has got to be overwhelming and wonderful all at the same time. I’d probably cry too and I’m 26
In the third one - I love the way the family were quiet for their boy when he became overwhelmed. It must be a really strange feeling to have (almost) a new sort of sense.
Pfft, I've seen these videos and how they get all emotional and I'm not going to get emotional. 10 seconds later he changes his mind for some reason.
Its the neural overload, all those pathways that was dormant their entire lives. Now its instantly activated, like it was always meant to and the brain releases a rush of dopamine the way they never experienced before. And they just are never prepared for it.

I watch these videos when the world is at its worst. We as a society move to fast now days. We no longer take the time to appreciate the little things. Like the color of the sky, the trees in the fall, or a beautiful sunset. These videos always make me appreciate the little things so much more.
How can they “name “ the colors correctly? I understand they can see them now, but how do they know their names when they were colorblind and saw the colors differently!
It’s called shade identification. Where red is dark and yellow is bright.
You sum it all. I couldn’t agree more. These videos truly makes me feel grateful for everything

I really want to do this with my completely color blind step dad and I’d hope he’d cry but I don’t know
It’s one of our 5 senses, I’m sure he’ll be grateful to see color properly
Please do it!!
Unfortunately, thats not how colour blind glasses work. They only work for mild colourblindness (even then, they only have a 1 in 5 chabce of working) by blocking out certain wavelengths that are perceived incorrectly by the cones in your eyes. In other words, you need to have all three colour cones for them to work. So if they can only see black and white, they have no cones. Which os very rare and... Extremely unfortunate.
Well also extremely unfortunate he filed for a divorce and moved out (not trying to be rude just sayin) thank you for the info though😁
