If you haven't tried yet, please try to image this bad boy with a media stick. When I try I get the following message "specify which deployment share to use" I've made sure the it's using "ALL Drivers" in my WinPE and also the selection profile is set to "Everything" I also made sure that my bootstrap.ini only has the default settings for keyboard alone. This is only happening with T460 when building with a media stick. Hopefully someone here could provide me some help in figuring this out.
Hey, i know its hard to compare this lenovo T460s with a lenovo Y700-15ISK but my decision have to be between these two models as i want to have a little bit of entertainment (maybe gaming sometimes & photoshopping while listening to music out of it) because i take nothing else for entertainment with me to my new flat far away from my hometown... i go to university and thats why im afraid about the weight of the Y700. Whats your opinion about that, is it too heavy and unflexible at all? ...so this T460s would be my alternative choice, but is it possible to have a little bit of fun with this or is it really just business :D I would be really really thankful if you can give me a few advises. greetings from germany. cheers, Felix
+Eric Kksheng build quality of the laptop is okay. Even though Lenovo advertise the laptop to be military standard in toughness. I asked to do testing like dropping it and other things but wasn't allowed. lol.
mainly school and work. I am not a programmer and don't do gamings a lot. I tend to choose x1c because I like light weight and its fancy design. But 460s is cheaper for a couple of hundred bucks.
I just received my T460 and 560 eval units. Can't wait to get the integrated into my OSD.

How thin is this laptop? Do you have a picture of the t460s beside another laptop, say the macbook pro? Thanks.
It seems that the function keys can be locked by Fn+Esc.

How do you feel about the trackpad? Sometimes the multi-finger gestures just do not work as smoothly as dell XPS 15.
And Win10 is super buggy, so I returned thinkpad and turn to Macbook.
