@MazhabiSingh I can sympathise with you, but the fact remains that everyone is born in different circumstances. Some are blind and are born with terrible disease, others are very healthy. In this sense people are not equal. It's also silly to make nazi-hindu connections, and the current view of the caste system is more political then religious.

You are wrong dear.....there are schools of all religions in India.....there are thousands of ISKON, DAV, Ramakrishna Mission , Saraswati Shisu Mandirs in India..... In fact the best school in Chennai is RK Mission school...& DAV (for CBSE).....
If you look carefully all 50% of private colleges are of some sects like Catholics, RK Mission, Seventh Day Adventists....even our St. Stephen's is a "faith school" in some sense.......
Who do you think started Shantiniketan & BHU.....??

Thank you for your comment. She actually assured me that her Hindu religion had no bearing on our relationship. This may be the case. I accept. I have no intention to offend Hindus and find it a passive religion. My relationship with Rachna led me to read much about Hinduism. I am strongly atheist. It is difficult to separate Hindus from caste. I abhor the caste system. Or rather the prejudice this Indian, Gujarati, Lohana girl and family showed me.

The aversion to you is explained much more simply by a desire to maintain and pass on one's culture to future generations and keep it alive. It is plainly obvious that intermarriage will change that and so, that's a capital NO for many people.

Caste system. Actually it is written you can't differentiate people based on caste.
4 types of caste resides in every human being
      1) mind - to get knowledge and keep growing
      2) warrior like your hands you use to protect you
      3) your stomach your earn and feed yourself and your family
      4) last cast means cleansing of your soul.
Just like in economics Adam Smith said divide people according to their talent increase effecency may be in past people did this divided people to flourish the economy .
But then people become greedy and started to discriminate

Has the UK now proven Hindism is the true religion? If not then on what basis is it taught as fact? The same question applies to other religions too.

    • @MrVidification
      @MrVidification 5 лет назад +5

There is a wide variation in 'inherited faith' among students in standard schooling. Some religious parents choose a faith school for their children. The UK has a notable south asian community. Hinduism seems to be a growing religion alongside Islam. Education at this school above will focus on Hinduism, learning about sanskrit and related culture, although at primary level nothing will likely be forced upon pupils when it comes to belief, but many parents and teachers will already be of the same religion. It is up to them how they teach, but all schools of all religions follow the standard curriculum of courses, unless they are private. The first private Hindu school in Europe was in England, opening in 1992

Religious schools divide. I was sent to a Catholic school. I have a problem with that. I teach in a state school. I have seen the divisive results of segregated schools. Visits to Northern iireland. Schools are for education not religion.

I wrote . 'She actually assured me that her Hindu religion had no bearing on our relationship. This may be the case.' So what are you on about? "any Hindu that supports caste, is not practicing what the Vedas preach".OK; Rachna WAS a practising Hindu. So she was not practising what the vedas preach. So what!! I don't care about the Vedas - not my concern. I was the subject of vile racism. The love of my life wrecked my life. TWICE. Indian, Gujarati,Lohana and Hindu. END. NO MORE FROM YOU

Caste may well be a European word. I know the derivation of the word. I understand Scottish clans and royalty marriages.... BUT it is Indians who practise the caste system. Indians and Hinduism are just about inseparable. For me, my life destroyed. Hinduism cannot withdraw from responsibility from the acts of its practitioners so easily. These Indian NRIs in Edgware were overtly racist. I hurt. I resent.
