I was thinking of my mom who passed and she made this but she called it chicken and rice soup I searched and searched and no one was like mom till I saw her thumbnail and I said that's it !! Thank you for sharing cause I really wanted that taste of mom again
This is SO GOOD! I only made a few adjustments because my Nanny taught me to never follow someone else’s recipe by the book. Therefore, I added a poultry seasoning I got in Belize and when it was done cooking, I added 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Topped with dried parsley for looks. Delicious!!!!

I just made this recipe with four chicken leg quarters and its absolutely delicious. I doubled the recipe, I didn't have any celery so I used celery seeds, red and yellow sweet bell peppers, also I made chicken broth with the chicken bouillon cubes. This is the best chicken and rice I've ever eaten and it was so creamy. Oh yes and I did use kosher salt because it's good in rice. I came across your vlog when I was surfing you tube for a chicken and rice recipe and I saw that you had over a million viewers and they loved your recipe. Thanks so much for sharing !!
