@@alexanderguerrero347 yeah i mean, they were probably careful not to cross any blasphemous lines there lol. they treaded lightly. I know its just tv but there's always someone who's gonna take it the wrong way

@radicalaps9230I'd tend to agree with you, except they made the Judeo-Christian God the literal main antagonist of the show, as a matter of fact they made him into a pretty shitty dude 😂 so to me I think it's weird to exclude Jesus from the story over fear of offending, really I think they should have put him in and had him as a genuinely good person through and through, someone who could have sorta acted as a Yin to Chuck's Yang in terms of love towards humanity, would have been fitting enough for biblical descriptions and expanded the story some imo

@@randymarshislorde I do agree that it would have been cool to see him in there. It definitely would be difficult to write a character with no flaws though. But yeah, the fact that they used God as the overarching villain can definitely strike a few chords with some people, but they were able to keep themselves non-affiliated enough with Christian teachings. I guess it's simply a hot take on a higher power that's not Omni benevolent, and the fact that he has a beginning and an end distinguishes him from the Judeo-Christian God who is simply "is and forever will be." I mean, I'm not particularly religious myself, but I like studying this shit. I hear you though, definitely odd choices by the writers
