2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Info Review and Buyers Guide

The 500-hp V10 sounds amazing from the second you hit that start button and it fires up, you are greeted by a deep rumble that sounds unlike any other engine you have heard before and you just dont hear it, you feel it. Though it may make 500-hp, the true secret to the Vipers brute power is the massive amounts of torque it makes. Gear selection doesnt matter as much on the Viper versus other performance cars, when you mash the gas you get neck snapping thrust. The Viper was inspired by the Shelby Cobra and like the Cobra its a raw sports car that does not have the electronic nannies you find in more modern day sports cars like traction and stability control, if you dont know what youre doing is this Viper, you can get yourself in some serious trouble. Dodge learned their lesson from the original Viper roadster and kept what worked and fixed what didnt work, for instance it actually has doors that can lock, real windows that roll up and a convertible top that is watertight and can easily be put up or down.

I love the Viper's look. I live in south Florida and we see Ferraris and lambos all the time. I get a lot of looks and thumbs up. Some of the guys even tell me how rare they see it on the road.
