7th Grade sucked for me. Everyone was awful, teachers were on strike and didn't care, lockers were too small and cramped together...it was chaos in the worst way. But my 7th Grade English teacher gave off this aura of peace in her class. No one made fun of her, everyone listened. She had us listen to radio horror dramas and read cool books. She was super pleasant, and if it weren't for her the rest of the year would have been hell on earth. Thanks, Mrs. Gauquier!

Fun fact, the "clingy" part of saran wrap was known to be bad for the environment so the saran wrap company chose to remove the chemical from their product. That's why saran wrap isn't "clingy" anymore. It's still hard to support a company whose main thing is wrapping stuff with plastic, but I thought that was a bold move by the company :)

I've had a skin condition for the past few years of my life, and have tried many different medications and forms of treatment. The most effective has been applying my steroids to the affected areas and wrapping them tightly in plastic wrap. I do totally get your confusion lol, it's a rather odd solution.

EDIT: before I talk about neopets, I just wanna say my fave part of this video was the one with Bimbim playing and there's this kind of jungle music in the background. It's adorable, I love cats so much.
When I was a kid I loved Neopets so much that I wanted to make a Neopets clone with my best friend at the time. I drew random pets, made lore, a language that isn't really creative because I just inverted the letters. I look back at that fondly. I bought like 4 of those big Cattleya notebooks, most of which are filled. Idk where they are though. Sometimes I want to look back at them and remember the creativity and fun I had with creating.
When I got bored with Neopets, I switched to conceptualizing a Facebook game, also with cute pets.
Now I'm pursuing a game dev career. Yay? lol

i spent years buying my 17 year old cat a plethora of toys and feathers and fake mice to try and see exactly what/how she likes to play, only to realize her preferred playing includes me being nowhere in sight while she’s in a separate room playing on her own (extremely self-conscious) with hairbands she stole from my bathroom. and it’s only stolen hairbands, if i willingly put one on the floor for her, she won’t touch it. if she didn’t steal it herself it’s not good enough of a “toy” for her

I usually like hearing people talk about something regardless if I'm interested in the thing itself. So long as I like how they talk about it or if I just like their presence in general. EDIT: Not the kind of representation I was expecting after the mindscape moments but I also have a cat that will keep acting like they want to play and just won't. Because of this I am in the bad habit of mostly just not playing with her. I've been meaning to try again though :( She actually plays and runs on her own sometimes, but I imagine it would be a lot better for her if I gave her more to engage with. Not to mention it'd give her more attention in general. I did manage to conclude she is a ''stalking / waiting'' kind of cat. But idk how to really engage into that without just. Well. Timing wiggling a toy on a grocery bag for a good hour and not really getting results. (Context: She got/gets excited with grocery bag crinkles and at first attacked more, but then went right back to just intently watching without taking action)
