I'm sure the "Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super" they mentioned in that first thing you read was only covering the story mode. A wishing mechanic with Super Shenron will be in the game where you can wish for characters, Zeni and costumes, so I'm sure that's where we will be getting GT and OG Dragon Ball characters and maybe what-if characters like SSJ3 Vegeta.

They say 20+characters but some of them will be variations which is misleading tbh
I haven’t played a dbz game since the ps2 but I’m definitely getting this ! And this isn’t a deal breaker for me since GT isn’t memorable at all for me outside of super 17, baby vegeta and super sayin 4 transformation.

Once again it cant be escaped. Its where the gaming world is now and has been for years. All we can hope for is to have a reasonable price but even that is asking too much. Altogether I have spent well over 200 dollars for everything on Xenoverse 2. I spent over 200 for Tekken 7. That is just the way it goes 100-110 for Deluxe Edition which includes first season pass and then 20-30 dollars for every following pass among other content. Games now from birth to death are costing 200-250 dollars for everything now. Its just the way it is. Live service games could cost way more and this game is looking like its sizing up for that.

We lost the man that gave us dragon ball and very little of you are worried about GT. Have some respect we should be thankful for him giving us this last gift. I'm glad most people are on board with this great game

I mean hey, its better to have them as DLC than not have them at all, it’s not like Sparking Zero I’d completely erasing those continuities out the series, keep in mind the last Budokai Tenkaichi Game was made 17 years ago in 2007, it was time where money transactions weren’t even a thing and games came fully packaged on systems that couldn’t handle bigger and more powerful games.

We will still get them, The developers are trying their best to please all fans, but Super is the current and the most important brand right now including Z, so DLC is without a doubt bound to happen with the other mediums but you know what I’m purchasing every character in the game at post launch, I want every thing in this game, as much as we hate DLC, we have to accept the fact business is business, and they need money to further push up this game’s longevity.

Kenny, they said it’s going to include DLC and so I am not surprised that this is the base GT is never included in modern base games so I’m not sure what you’re talking about here man lol

I with the exception 2020 game, which has to date had no GTDLC feature yet The 2013 game and the 2016 game both had GT characters DLC. and with the 2013 game, it was an entire story DLC that which which was later part of larger DLC in the 2016 game the only games to feature GT characters as non-add on are those the pre-date the PlayStation four Xbox one and even then the 2013 title was originally on the PS3 so definitively you could say things predating 2013 with Dragon Ball games canon console canon anyway contains some form of GT based content but nothing within the PlayStation 4 or Xbox one console life cycle and beyond as featured GT in the base game I said modern I would not qualify anything predating PS4 is modern
