I did it's literally the only game I've pre ordered. I'll be the first to tell you not to pre-order a game, but no, this is Tenkaichi 4, bro. I'm getting 3-day access to the ultimate edition, whatever it takes for this game.
Also, if you're a casual, 3 days is nothing, if you are competitive than the 3 days $$$ is going to be worth it, plus it's not like the characters are as complex as Tekken.

yeah some youtubers gonna milk the everloving HELL out of it with the 3 days early access,but there is 100% gaurantee that some are gonna be uploading gameplay tips and how everything works videos so those who didnt get the early access can watch those and keep paced with all the early birds of Sparking Zero,thats what i think will happen
I preordered the Premium Collector's Edition not at all for the 3 day early access. I preordered it because I was 17 - 19 years old playing all 3 Tenkaichi 3 games. I'm going off of nostalgia for sure but from whst we've seen, this game looks and may very play spectacularly.
Theres going to be HUGE amounts of what if stories(custom stories confirmed to be shared in the community) and custom match fights,etc. Still have a good chunk of the roster still to be announced!

While it is true that other anime games have a host of problems, I think assuming Sparking Zero will have these issues is silly. The team working on Sparking Zero is not the same that works on Xenoverse nor the team that works on Storm. Assuming that it'll have their problems because it's an anime game is the same as assuming Marvel Rivals will have the same issues as Overwatch or Paladins because they're all hero shooters.
I don’t mind deluxe editions as long as it doesn’t penalize me for buying the base game. All the sparkling zero stuff being early access doesn’t bother me because Getting the full game early is a bonus, you don’t NEED to have it 3 days early, you just have to wait for its REGULAR release date and save 20$. The other things you get early such as gogeta, Broly and the mystery character are still unlock able in the game, just can’t have that instant gratification. So overall it sounds like if you can be patient and wait the extra 3 days and just naturally play the game, you get everything the deluxe gives you and save 20$ to 30$. And if your pockets are hurting, just wait for the DLC to drop at a later date and buy it for 10$ to 15$ later. As long as I get to enjoy the base game and have FULL ACCESS to everything I don’t care. All that other stuff is a unnecessary unless you really really want it that bad

Yes, it does make having a "proper" release date kinda silly, but you also have to remember this is an industry where super-hyped games leak so many days in advance anyway, so I can't hate companies like Bamco for tryna make money off of those who want to try and get it early
Honestly, I don't think there is a right or wrong with Early Access, just if you do it or don't. There's merit to both

I've been saying it for some time now.
It's not early access, you literally just start playing right on time, but others are purposely being blocked from starting the game when it's ready.
People who know about it and still preorder are scambags who ruin it for everyone and it will come back to bite them back when the amount of these fake early access options will increase and every edition will have more and more "early access" days.
Now they ask you extra $30 to start playing on time and 5 years from now, they will start asking an extra $100 with 7 days or more of "early access". It can and it will happen because you've already allowed them to make their first step.

You're not being punished, just the ones buying the deluxe or ultimate are being rewarded. I was gonna buy the ultimate regardless cause I knew it was gonna have an exclusive collectable, season pass and a steelcase and I enjoy those things, but now throw in that I can play a few days early? I'm all for it. 3 days early is not that big of a deal if you only want the standard editon, but dont take away from the fans that grew up with the series and want to get the bigger editions.

Honestly idk why care you can just get better and your not forced to fight the pre order players learn the game then go in when your Comfortable and story spoil I understand but there are ways to avoid it by maybe having a second account with no dragon ball interest and if you see anything that says dragon ball or or see dragonball just go past it as fast as you can idk thats how I deal with it so idk

True, but that's a RUclipsr benefit, this video was from the perspective of a Casual player (and also bigger RUclipsrs get games even before the 3 day access usually)
My only gripe is that they are allowing pre-orders but they still haven't listed system requriments on steam or anywhere else. Like why would I pre-order if I don't even know if my PC can run the game?

But this isn’t pay to win, this is “pay more and you get BONUS stuff” but the bonus is still all in the base game, you just don’t get that instant gratification. It really don’t matter cause nine time out of ten u are facing people who played the old games so you already have a competitive disadvantage
But it’s only 3 days, not even a week. I’ve seen worse. And the far majority aren’t playing competitively, most of them suck at games anyways. After a month, that 3 days won’t make a huge difference, your gonna play the game for years. And imo you shouldn’t be hoping into online first 3 days, learn the game for a good minute. Play Bt3 dolphin emulator multiplayer if you wanna train early so bad, that’s what I did. SZ has many other problems people need to talk about

What scares me are the balancing of Sparking Zero.
BT games have generally mever focused on bakancing characters, unlike Xenoverse, where every character is balanced to each other. I don't want to see Yamaha being balanced to Jiren or Broly. That is what makes the game more fun in that aspect and keeps immersion for me. If I see a saibaman being able to beat Beerus, that just throws me off.
Anyway, I hope this isn't the case, or at least, it's something that's barely noticeable.
What game are you playing? Xenoverse 2 and even 1, which had far superior core combat for competitive play had horribly unbalanced original characters.
I do agree with this general concern though
The biggest problem I have is you have to have an Xbox X series or PS5 to play it. That means no Xbox One in any form. It has to be Xbox Series X or PS5.

One way to stop this promblem is to make it to make it to where people can’t post about it until everyone can access it for an example RUclipsrs could make videos about it during the early access and have them probated and publish them when everyone can access it for the standard edition

Facts, this game looks very promising. And the behavior of the marketing tells me they believe this is a phenomenal game, the trailers and mini gameplay demo looks amazing. But any game with great marketing has the potential of being a bad game. I’m hopeful, but we will see when it releases how great it is

Sparking Zero is nothing more than a cash grab. And the roster and gameplay mechanics doesn't even comes close to BT3. The only thing it has going for it is the graphics. It's Pathetic!
