Probably won't happen but I'd really hope there's a what if where Goku and Gohan finally get to fuse in Buu Saga, it's been years and we still haven't seen the concept visualized yet!
I would love that, but idk if they will add what if characters, but they totally should since they are allowing people to create their own stories
So the cool thing about the game is, is that - barring the full cinematic moments - I am... 95% confident that the actual Sparking Zero story mode was made inside the custom battle maker. The way the campaign gameplay looks matches too accurately what the custom battles were shown to be. So - if there is literally anything they missed that you would like to see - you can make it yourself on the exact same level of quality as the official story mode
Look it up. Dragon Ball fusions has the idea down so all you’d get is a non chibi render of that character

Imagine if they took notes from cc2 doing story dlcs and the next season pass they add more what if stories.
That’s most definitely what they do eventually….just imagine, this game will be out for years….developers could have so much time to literally create their own STORIES and then release as DLC…kinda like Xenoverse but BETTER

The devs should also give us many versions of Black that isn't a Goku clone so the devs can get the actors of the characters to voice Black, just imagine a Chris Sabat's Vegeta Black becoming British when in Super Saiyan Rosé.
What you'll read next is just my idea of a what-if I just came up in my mind if the devs gave us more versions of Black that isn't a Goku Clone.
Just imagine Vegeta Black killing Bulma and just doing more emotional and mental damage to Future Trunks as Bulma's last gaze would be her looking into the face of the man she loved before Black kills her and he then continues to torment Future Trunks, resulting Trunks returning to the past but instead of attacking Goku, he attacks Vegeta and shouting that Vegeta killed Bulma which shocks everyone there especially Vegeta. Also, just imagine the rage boost Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta would get once Vegeta Black and Zamasu reveal how Vegeta Black came to be and what he did to Vegeta and his family from a different timeline, I bet not only will Vegeta get a rage boost after hearing what Black did but him unlocking Blue Evolution far earlier than he did in the timeline and unlike what Goku did in the original timeline against Goku Black, Vegeta would straight up murder Vegeta Black thus we wouldn't get a Merged Zamasu in that What-If scenario and by the time we get to the Tournament of Power Arc, Vegeta would have fully mastered his Blue Evolution that when he uses his final atonement move against G.O.D Toppo, Vegeta wouldn't be as exhausted as he was, he'd still have more gas in his engine to last much longer against Jiren until one of four things happens, those being,
One: Vegeta lasts for a few more minutes to try to damage Jiren more until Vegeta gets eliminated but gives Goku more energy.
Two: Vegeta and Goku team up to either fuse into Vegito to elimate Jiren since Jiren would never let them fuse to Gogeta unless Jiren got distracted so Gogeta can appear.
Three: Vegeta and Goku team up to try eliminate Jiren by working together without fusing, kinda like how Goku and Frieza teamed up to eliminate Jiren in the main timeline, Goku's and Vegeta's teamwork would make Whis very proud that his message to the Saiyans worked.
Four: Vegeta lasts longer till he is up against a Jiren who's finally gotten exhausted, Vegeta will surprisingly get through Jiren's thick skull and tells him that he was once like Jiren in that he thought power is all he ever needed but he gained trust from his fellow Z Warriors and realised that his friends and family give him power, Jiren could ask what Vegeta would wish for if he won and Vegeta would say that he would wish everyone in the tournament to be brought back to life, Jiren will finally see that there is someone who is prideful but would do the right thing and he let's Vegeta eliminate him thus Vegeta wins and wishes for everyone to be revived

Some ideas I had was for the potential Super Hero dlc. One of them was Z Broly appearing out of a wormhole on Beerus’s Planet and you had to fight him as Super Broly. Another was Piccolo failing to save Gohan and him going to Namek, getting his potential unlocked by Guru, and maybe turning Orange against either Frieza or Imperfect Cell
people have to use their heads on theese what-ifs. They are not going to make fan characthers in a main DB game. So something like Goku fusing with Gohan against Buu is not going to happen cuz thats not an existing characther or model for the game. It has to be done with the forms and techniques we already have like the ssj Goku vs great ape vegeta or Trunks going ssj before Gohan dies to the androids or trunks dying to the androids and Gohan is the one to face Goku black. Its not going to be like ssj3 Majin Vegeta.
I like the future trunks in the top idea, what if after goku and vegeta reject to fuse gohan asks to fuse with trunks ??
With these "What ifs" are we going to see the entire story of DBZ change? Like Goku goes SS in the Saiyan arc and then we see how it plays out during the Freiza arc with Goku already being SS? Or is it just a "What if" for one battle/arc
We do not 100% know as of this moment
this would be a lot of fights and possibilities to implement for each "what if", but it would be cool nonetheless
its small divergents in a saga. they did it in the old games too. like raditz losing his memories and becoming good. He ends up killing himself to kill nappa and frieza by crashing into their pods in space. The story doesnt go into the frieza saga or anything, it ends there
I hope the what ifs we are presented are much more diverse and complex than this, I like your ideas but they definitely feel more fan-fiction esque, and mostly consist of “what if character X used this form or fusion” I don’t want to be able to predict the outcomes we get. A great example is vegeta and trunks being the ones the finish cell. This is much more interesting because of its story implications, and is not just a fan fiction showdown
Nah that's fair. I plan on doing more videos in this fashion where I go more into specifics rather than just simplicity. I just wanted the first video to be more of the obvious choices and big exciting fanficy moments :)

3 month late I know, but want to say sth about future gohan vs Goku black, actually in one of the dragon ball heroes game they did end up fighting. Future Gohan was chasing Black around with Trunks accompany him. Despite knowing goku black is not his father, he still calls him "dad" with a very sad expression.
Trunks(future): he is not your father, Gohan-san. Don't be deceived by him.
Gohan(future): I know...but...even though, I'm still happy to see his face, it's been so long since I saw him alive...I just...missed him so much...
Then future gohan confronting Goku black, it's even more sad.
Gohan(future): Sorry, dad. Don't worry, this time I will help you rest in peace, with my own hands.
Geeze, I just can't.(and of course, after this heartfelt scene, Xeno goku showed up and telling future Gohan he is proud of him, very good interactions)
Future Gohan winning is something we need. He got his good ending in Dokkan Battle through the k.o. screen of his LR active skill.
If they add gt as a dlc pack I hope they add goku jr and vegeta jr

If their is no new transformation what ifs they could make a whole dlc's about them, including
Ssj3 vegeta and majin vegeta
Ssj3 gogeta ( could have big bang kamehameha)
Ssj3 vegito ( could have unique move called the final dragon flash which would look like the final flash but much cooler)
Ssj4 bog goku and ssg4 bog goku difference being his hair color would look like ssj4 gogetas ( plus that could be a substitute for goku to go ssj4 while looking like gt goku before shrinking) he would probably have a special moveset for that
It's either that or they could add an adult gt goku that can go super saiyan 4 and ust change the outfit to dbz goku's

I think they definitely will add what if forms. We’ve seen great ape forms of characters like Raditz and Nappa in BT and other games and FighterZ even had super saiyan Bardock as his level 3 and dramatic finish

super saiyan vegeta vs super saiyan goku on namek actually happened in a really old DBZ rpg card game. it would be sick to see that happen in this game as a scenario as well. of course it has to share the name of the game to complete the reference, "super saiyan legend"
I think What Ifs should have never seen fusions and transformations. I'm not interested in 'What if X fought Y?" I can do that in a regular fight.

What would be cool is if they paid tribute to previous games What If scenarios like Cell accidentally absorbing Krillin instead of Android 18 from Budokai 1, the villains banding together to fight the Z Fighters from Budokai Tenkaichi 1, Raditz suffering amnesia and fighting with Goku against Piccolo and Zarbon turning on Frieza and summoning Cooler to Namek from Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

I personally hope we get what if vegeta got blue evolution against goku black and what if beast gohan was awoken during the tournament of power when everyone thought goku had died durning his first battle with jiren
There are a few what-ifs I really wanna see in the game, but I doubt those would ever see the light of day in the console versions of Sparking! ZERO and those being what if Black wasn't Goku, basically how we see what-ifs on RUclips of Zamasu wishing to swap bodies with someone that isn't Goku, such as a Vegeta or a Gohan or that fan theory that a lot of people had of Black's identity being that of Goten, but issue is, the voice acting lines since we never heard a Black being voiced by another actor that wasn't the voice actors of English and Japanese Gokus

I wanna see a What-IF Vegito clashed vs. BROLY instead of Gogeta or Gogeta vs. Zamasu instead of Gogeta
What if Vegeta never achieved god form and learned how to go Super Saiyan 4? (What-if scenario) there could only be one super saiyan God to exist at a time in one universe and it’s a form that Vegeta couldn’t obtain. So he trains hard, caps out his super saiyan form, gets his to tail back then learns how to become Super Saiyan 4 instead.

@@Buddyboi633 Completely disagree with OP on the BT3 WI fusions, there are none. But I will say this, between the games DB Fusions and DB Heroes... I mean if they get froggy well, we do have models/concepts that could very well sell like hot cakes as dlc if they run out of ideas. Just depends on how long they plan on keeping this game going. Which hopefully is a while haha.
