I can understand some of the complaints regarding the SFX and lack of camera shake, but at the same time look at how expressive the models are, look at the camera work and angles. Those are things BT3 couldn’t do.
Basically while there are some areas BT3 is better there are also areas SZ does better.
Less is more. The constant zooming on the camera is so annoying on sparking zero. It looks terrible, makes it so you can't actually see the action and they use it as a trick to hide their crappy weightless animations
@@madman19979I can make similar argument for BT3. The constant screen shaking and the loud sound effects make up for how limited their animations are. I’m not dissing BT 3 when I say that, part of making any kind of game is learning to work around your limitations and BT 3 did that very well.
'Struggle all you want. In the end, you're still DEAD!!. Would have went perfect for his ult in Sparking. It's my only gripe, but i can still get down with all the new iterations. THIS IS Budokai Tenkaichi, NOT whatever the hell Ultimate Tenkaichi tried to play itself off as. So i am deeply grateful for what they have done

Well, tenkaichi 3 just looks more intense, harder hits, more camera shake and dynamic camera angles. Sparking Zero feels softer. Look at Gogeta’s ultimate ffs. Looks so damn painful in tenkaichi 3. Each hit you’re going “OUCH!”
the only thing what i want for goku ssj4 is to sharpen his eyes like in Bt3, cause in Sparking zero his eyes are slightly roundish.
They based him on Toriyama’s design and not his original GT design.

Sparking Zero 3d model sometime looking so weird while Tenkaichi 3 ,even it look polygon but still show the characters model fine .And sound effects ,why no impact at all from Sparking Zero ?

Does it not bother anyone else that they cut the dragon SFX short in sparking zero when doing a dragon fist compared to BT3s it just feel like it doesn’t have the same impact in sparking
I’m nostalgic about BT3 like anyone else in here , but seriously calm down.
The animation , characters expressions , the lighting , the camera following the attack. All those things are better in Soarking Zero.
If you are going to whine about than don’t play the SZ game. Acting like children because of nostalgia , just appreciate the game.
Why? If you don’t like super there’s literally no reason to buy it. All the gt and most of the z characters are just ports with the same moves, there’s literally no cool impact when moves hit so it just seems like the beams disappear into smoke, and all the characters are redesigned to look like the shit broly movie so now half of the saiyans look like they are 16. Not to mention that they just snubbed dragon ball completely, probably so they could just steal all the ideas and remake king piccolo or whatever for there new Diama dog shit. It’s a product I’m not gonna just like it because they added super into an old game.
@@shockwavesyndrome6433 I enjoy Super , especially the manga. There’s plenty of GT characters and transformations. Not everyone is fond of GT and its characters , not a big deal to many of us. Sure more DB characters could had been added , but I’m fine with the future Daima characters. The characters don’t look bad , what are you talking about? Do you watch the videos complaint the whole time. Don’t play it lol , why would you waste your time being petty?
The game is new lol , just because it’s from a line of games that is old it doesn’t undermine its improvisations. The moves look just fine. I miss old kid Goku’s voice. I hate his new one. It just doesn’t feel like the kid Goku I know and love when I hear that new voice. One of the reasons I think I’m going to have to play this game with the Japanese voices.

@@90sprinceofcrime67 I think I play DBL in english. I played XV2 in english. I played bt3 in english. I played Ultimate Tenkaichi in english. I played Battle of Z in english. I think this would be the first time I play a full DB game in japanese. I play Dokkan in japanese voices with english subtitles. But if we’re talking about console games, I think this would be the first time I play a Dragon Ball game with japanese voices. Also, I love Goku Black’s voice in japanese. He just sounds effortlessly sadistic and cruel in nature vs in english, it sounds like Sean Schemmel is trying way too hard to make Goku Black sound like a bad guy. It just seems completely forced and unnatural.

No, SZ has literal impact frames whereas BT just flashed the entire screen white for a second because thats the best they could do back then. And for meeles they added new camera perspectives whereas BT just put a blur filter to make it look more dynamic

Almost every og character is literally just a port with the same moves but they don’t explode or make sound. Then you got the super brain rot infecting characters like bardock and frieza. Yay I love how ssj4 goku looks like he’s half the size of how he should be with giant eyes meant for a 16 year old.
-Objectively not true, plus SZ improves on most of the OG characters movesets, a big example of this being End Vegeta
-Frieza sure, but Bardock is just modeled after his Z design and has his Z design as an alternate costume
-The only difference between SZ’s SS4s and the anime’s is the fact that his shoulders are slightly less broad
@@axellont5019dude you literally haven’t seen gt. There’s a part where vegeta turns from ssj4 to base and he loses like a foot and a half and fifty pounds of muscle. Also yeah there’s like a handful of characters like ssj3 goku who got new moves. But every gt character and most z characters are just ports

Also while most ports didn’t have their moveset changed up the animations for a large majority of them are much longer and usually much better that BT3s, Mid Base Goku’s ultimate is a good example of this

Also I’m aware a handful of z characters have new moves but the vast majority don’t. Especially movies and gt. A majority of the characters ported from BT3 have the same movesets but with much much better animation and impact, a few hiccups such as Z Broly’s Gigantic Hammer doesn’t change that
They completely missed the mark with DBZ Broly and it feels like they intentionally made him less appealing to allow spotlight for DBS Broly.
