Hello I'm suck at 11:09 , when I input everything in and change the scale nothing appears and stays the same. I can't receive the white sprinkle dots. What have I done wrong?
Try to reduce the position gap in the color ramp. If that does not, select the object press ctrl+a for transform menu and in the menu select apply scale. You can try a small scale value as well.
This was an amazing tutorial! Im struggling with the colors though. The leaves have the green to pink gradient but it doesnt bloom from the bottom up. The gradient is going from the left to the right side of the succulent. How do I fix this?
Thank you for your comments! To fix the position of the gradient, you can first try changing the rotation values in the mapping node for xyz axis to see which aligns properly. You can also change the position values. Make sure in the separate node z is connected. Last of all apply ctrl a and select transform scale. Hopefully you will be able to get it right.
Hi i really enjoy your video and gourgeous plant! Theres just one thing i cant figure out you clixk the viewport and rotate the plant leaf backward. And the bottom part stays glued but only rest mives how do you do that? For me the entire leaf rotates into mid air kinda looking like a smiley face mouth...you never said hoe in your video i even looked at the shortcut display but it dosent work. So im not sure what ive done wrong here. Are you usong an empty or something ebcause you dodnt say it in your video
Hi, Thank you for your comment. To move only part of the leaf, first, make sure to select the complete one edge loop of the leaf. That means selecting all edges on other sides as well. (Alt+right mouse) or select menu edge loop. Then moving it will only affect the selected part. I hope it will work.
Really great tutorial, thanks a lot! I just have one question: not all of my leaves got the pinkish tips, only the front ones. I followed the tutorial, but I did this adding the plant to another illustrattion I already had. Can somebody help? :D
Thank you for your comment. You can try some steps. For color showing only on some parts apply transform scale on the object (ctrl a-> transform scale). As this is a procedural material, sometimes colors are not mapped if scale or size of the object changes. Another thing you can change the color ramp values more of colors or try changing in texture coordinate node the position or scale.
I did not duplicate the leaves with Shift+D, like he said, but Alt+D. This also duplicates the object the same way, but with telling blender that i want these to ... idk, being similar. So if you add nodes or change something on the one that i duplicated the others from (selecting the first in the outliner), the duplicated ones will have it also ;)
hey im just now learning blender and this is my first ever tutorial to follow, im pressing ctrl+r on my hp pc and its not doing anything, no edges for mee:(( , whats the problem if u mind helping?
Hi, Make sure you are in the edit edge mode. Then select one edge and press Ctrl+R. It will add edge loops. Use the mouse scroll wheel to increase or decrease the edge loop number. Hopefully, it will work. Thank you and good luck with Blender!
@@Farrukh3D thank u, i tried it and it worked, now when i wanna separate the face i made on the cylinder on top, it shows a list of options of the separations ,i tried all three options one by one and none did the job for me, when i color the cylinder it colors it all as one including the face and i cant color the face separately from the cylinder :(, what should i do
@@sara-mp9by Make another new material or duplicate it. Apply on the faces which are going to be different. You can copy, paste the nodes from the shader editor and change the colors and settings in your new material.
Hi Yana, You can check these settings. Hopefully the issue should be fixed. 1. In Mix Shader Fac Amount 0.5, 2. In seperate xyz node Z is connected to Color ramp Fac. 3. Color Ramp is connected to Mix Shader node and BSDF node is also connect. 4. Drag the Sliders of the color ramp to see if color changes. 5. Mapping node and Texture corodinate node is added which connects to separate xyz node.
Hi, To export model with color, you will need to bake the materials to an image texture. The blender material used here is a procedural shader so it cannot export directly. There are tutorials on RUclips on how to bake textures, you can check them or you can also use addon like SimpleBake or Bystedts Baker to simplify the process and create the textures.

The Color Ramp doesn't aplly on the plants leaves, they still remain only green. Which reason can it have? :(
Hi Yana, You can check these settings. Hopefully the issue should be fixed.
1. In Mix Shader Fac Amount 0.5,
Also Make sure your Texture Coordinate is connected to Vector and not Scale, (I think in 2.9 they had changed the spots)
👍💕

Dude can you correct lightning of my blender smartphone project?
You can use an HDRI map for lighting. It gives the best results in most cases. Pick a studio black white HDRI and try it.
Only one of my leaves is changing colour, how do i fix this?
Please check if the same material is applied to other leaves also. Go to material tab and select the plant material if it is not there.
