I have the old earthquake 1/2" impacts. The regular and stubby. The regular one hits harder than any of my coworkers truck brands. I dont have anything to compare the stubby to but im very happy with it. It spins stupid fast too. Oddly, i bought the 3/8" earthquake and returned it immediately. I dont know if i got a dud or what but my m12 impacts hit harder.
An adjustable wrench used for a bolt like in the photo is pure blasphemy. LOL. I can understand why Electricians or HVAC guys use them since they're on the road and don't want to carry a ton of tools. I've only used them for fasteners larger than 1 1/4. LOL. That's where my wrench set ends and I don't feel like dropping $100+ dollars each for the next few sizes. 😂😂
100% agreed. That's when I use mine as well lol. I wasn't spending those prices on individual wrenches especially when I'm not using them often. Hahaha ya seeing that picture made me laugh 🤣🤣🤣
Harbor Freight's prices are in line with the big box stores now because the quality now meets or exceeds them. It's funny to me that guys bitched about HF being "junk" and today are bitching about them being the same price as the Big Box brands. It seems they can't win with these guys. I am a DeWalt/Milwaukee owner for decades, but if I were starting out today, I would most definitely be looking at Hercules. Awesome, honest stuff as always Tony. Only thing I could see the adjustable length wrench being valuable for is maybe a bare minimum off road/road trip tool loadout, but that’s about it.
