@A_Honcho I thought I was missing 😂😂I was shooting from around 600-800ish meters. Then I saw the TOW you shot at the MBT and thought It was coming our way instead, so I smoked out, and we ran off 😂😂😂

@A_Honcho yeah honestly we should have stayed are armour would have faired better I think we actually run out of ammo though sadly lol. But good strat will use it in the future against the t 90
0:28 He could probably see your engine exhaust through the smoke giving off your silhouette. If you ever get a game on Talil with the T-90 btw, I'd highly recommend trying hull down in the rocks. Great gameplay either way, least the bugs didn't get you lol.

Why on earth do I have to stop loading my main cannon to fire coax still

cause that is how it is irl, autoloaders have to return to neutral position for the shell to be rammed to breach and for manual loading tanks all the modern ones automatically raise the gun so the breach lower for loader to load
@@juhoalander3461 which is why coaxes are not glued to the gun and can be elevated independent (source the chieftain)
@@bensmith6868 what tank has that? most tanks have coax in the mantlet which automatically means it moves with the main gun, t72 coax is bolted to the breach you can see that in internal pictures
the sight is not glued to the gun with modern fcs but that is not the same

@@A_Honcho I played it yesterday. Its kinda fun but I'm not sure its better than BTR. Same turret but BMP gets tracks and can get tracks while BTR can move so fast.
I might come on DOD some time, seems like it would be a blast :)

less about how good the t 90 is more about how bad the m60t is 3 v1 and they still loose
It's an old ah cold war tank with modifications against third generation tanks. Irl the M-60T loses against everything unless a T-55 or 62 shows up.
What a great vid! That 1st fight was so chaotic I couldn't see any of the tanks I was just shooting at their mussel shots lmao And then you merked them all again at the end what a perfect game.

@@A_Honcho I’m not entirely sure I think it was a pebble flipping us or my buddy drove over a really big rock going down a hill making us flip lmao but it was a great game!

We had the Infantry Combat Overhaul, it's time now for the Vehicle Combat Overhaul
Just by reading the title. No. T90 is pretty much the same as T72 (go figure). The only difference I found when testing on a live server is that the T90 has some places on the front hull where it cannot be pen whereas the T72 can. Other than that it can still be as easily ammo racked as the T72 can.
How many ATGMs did you eat? I love squad but something must be done with tanks

No. One shot from Abrams on the same weak spot as t-72b3 (front) will start the cook-off. While any tank in the game needs 2 shots to kill an Abrams from the front.
Im guessing you tried the shooting range for damage testing, the damage on there is not accurate compared to live servers. You can only get one shot ammo racked in a tank if you hit it with a ATGM, normal AP shells always need at least 2 shoots. Same for the missle of a ZTZ it can one shot ammo rack a LEO speaking from experience.
They made it 3 shorts not 2 wit AP you can't 2 shot the ammo rack anymore

@@BlackWolf9988 Yeah, but I still think the Abrams is better, better fov for driver, better magnification and hud for gunner and the 2 shot spot in the front is very small and was super hard to hit
he encounter those tanks like in GHPC

They technically did with a bunch of stuff, but its only technical, nothing visual
M60T for example has all its ERA actually working, does reduce damage and pen (matters only for HEAT/Rockets, AP has high enough base stats to not matter)
It would be cool if they have a system similar to war thunder, but I doubt it's easy to do on UE4

also kinda weird I was testing the T90A on the shooting range against the M1A2 and I easily one hit ammoracked it 2 times around the turret ring
thats why me and my friend didnt take the T90A we allways toke the BMP2M
If you did it in Jensen's range on your own all the armour values are broken.
You need to find a server hosting Jensen's to test it properly

Im be spicy and point out the t90 gettting schooled by my teams t62 seems pretty lore accurate
in my opinion they could have added a T-90M and then said due to the new welded turret plus new Relikt ERA the armor is enhanced compared to the T-72B3 rather then putting magical numbers of extra armor on esentiallaly the same hull armor as the T72B3 the extra UFP sidearmor and LFP armor dosent exist IRL only thing that the T90A has over the T72B3 irl is better base turret armor with the new welded turret laserwarningreciver and softkill aps
and the argument the game is set around 2011 falls flat
the VDV has the sprut
the M1A2 uses M829A4 Sabot round which werent in service until 2016 same goes for the 3BM60 round
The whole 2011 thing got dropped a while ago, I don't know how fully modern they are going but they're certainly cherry picking alot of bits now

Unfortunately I have to call BS on the T-90As armor. I am not sure where did Virus get those armor values (1:43), but this is not what I see in the SDK, nor does it track with my personal experience since the patch. In fact the hull is exactly the same as T-72B3 (event tho the model is different), and the turret is, arguably, even worse then the said T-72B3. I will elaborate on the topic in your discord, so that I can post pics to prove my point.

the hull is 80mm thicker, and using 3rd party models it shows the same colour for the armor, but it is 80mm thicker
but it wont make a difference at ranges upto 700m
@@A_Honcho actually my bad, I went and did a sanity check. It appears that they managed to put the correct values in the live game, but in the local Jensen's and the SDK they are wrong for some reason... OWI things I guess (-_-(
Also, as a sidenote, the barrel-launched ATGMs are still dumb tho. Instead of just firing them when you press the button as before, there is now a delay and a sound of the cap popping off, which quite resembles the Kornet. Now for this I have no prof of, but it feels like out of all beam-riding ATGMs they only made the Kornet in time , and they just slapped it in as a placeholder for all the vics. (-_-(

russian turret armor is a brick wall (even for atgms now on the t90)
Well basically every “modern”tank(abrams ztz) has turret cheeks that can’t be penned.
I think we're seeing an early step towards an Armour overhaul

Not really the T 90 turret is week you just need to know where to shoot you just have to shoot barrel I killed the T90 multiple times already it's not as strong as you think you just need to know where to shoot the abrams and m60 crews didn't know a thing i saved almost all the clips of killing those T90s i can show them if anyone wanna see them
@@S0m3boodyy look up a picture of T90 welded turret. Its similar to the abrams in that its "flat" armor angled away. From the direct front, nothing is penning. When the armor is facing you flat on you can pen T90 and abrams with Tow and stuff

At around 11:15 me and my friend are in the ACV at like 600-800ish meters I was the one blinding his turret with HE rounds.Then we got hit and drove past the 3 MBTs. They were basically role-playing. They were doing a formation, and we said like 10 minutes before that they'd get killed, lol. Our team was awful.
WHY THE F. DID THEY CHANGE THE WEAPONS LAYOUT. I was happy with Coax on number 3 and Smokes on 5...

Tbh tanks are a bit broken, they need a rework, it's insane how many shots a tank tanks sometimes, it's not realistic nor fun nor player beginner friendly
It's not designed to be beginner friendly, alot of us find it fun though and there's certainly a skill ceiling to it
It’s something you learn after time. Like learning where their ammo racks are or weak points in the armour. I usually main tank with a friend and most of the time we win the 1v1 encounter with another tank
Another this is knowing what to hit at what time. Hitting engine will stop their movement, damaging turret when they are looking away lets you be at the advantage. Tracking them is good to immobilise but not the best for damage. And of course hitting the ammo rack and having it cook off it’s the best case scenario
@@A_Honcho I'm myself experienced, but saying it for being experienced guys is cope, they want a simplified realistic version but I think the majority would want a realistic armor system like world of tanks or squad 44
Part of the skill of this game is spending time on ground and then going to armor. It's some of the few levels of progression in the game imo. Learning the weaker APCs may not seem fun, but learning from something that doesn't have as big of a ticket loss will definitely benefit you long term when you get into something beefier.

Its just game jank sometimes. You just see the outline of a tank through the smoke.
@@BlackWolf9988 The ESS right before going through that smoke might've done that, ESS and Smoke Launches are like Oil and Water in Squad, causes various graphical glitches at times that can give your position away

Alot of the time Tanks spawn after 15 minutes, so I'd be worried if your PC took that long to load in

We need an armor overhaul. Make vehicles easier to kill for lats and especially hats, but give vehicles things like ERA, thermals, trophy systems to keep their edge while staying realistic

To be fair, despite their many flaws, T72s should not be scoffed at. As any tank should not be.

TLF are fine. Infantry is winning games, armor more or less complements it.
