"Enemy Team Picked The Worst Match-up" I'm still convinced that 10% of people vote knowing the actual Unit they want, 25% of people vote for tanks no matter what, 50% of people vote for the Faction they want without caring about the Unit, and the remaining 15% never vote. I think I seriously underestimated the non-voting part.
This is the main problem with the voting system. You need more time to make an informed decision unless you are able to memorise every single unit. But the gap between rounds is already long enough to be annoying.
yep it's really funny that infantry didn't even have gloves when the faction was first released. I'm not even mentioning the lack of HAT kit (except for the airborne unit which never gets picked). I'm pretty sure OWI couldn't really care less about the player feedback
I really hate the Turkish factions without hats, every time, the armor just goes uncontested then the armor wins the game. When ever armor is heavily contested, it doesn’t win games, but in this case, it definitely does.
also, the acv has the same armor as the bradley except for the machine gun area on the turret, which has 15 mm I think of armor. The m60 ammo is also right side under the turret. Shoot same spot as the leo and you will hit it.
The other day my team picked a Turkish faction that had just one M60 and one ACV against a faction with one Abrams and FOUR LAVs. It was so dumb. We did get extra TOW missiles, but nobody built even one of them, so we got wrecked.
Since im the first one here, do yall think that the faction marchups are balanced? I mean as in is it reasonably possible for certain faction groups to win against others if the "better" pick is playing as it should. for reference logistics group vs a tank brigade or maybe even a combines arms group.
Most factions are balanced well, theres the russian BMP heavy one thats a bit crazy but other than that most matchups are fine as long as you dont pick the worst one like they did in this game
There's varying degrees of unbalance (for example MIL is going to have a massive advantage on most layers that don't hug the wall of the map due to the extra logis) but the Turks in particular get fucked by the lack of HAT.
All faction variants are situational and are very dependent on the skill level. Theoretically light infantry is the most capable of all variants, since they have so much mobility, good anti infantry capabilities and 4 tandems and they also have ATGMs. But it is almost impossible to play with random people. Tank factions are strong only if the tankers are very good, bad tankers will just waste vehicles and lose a lot of tickets and if enemy is not skilled enough.
Well same for me but i played as Australian. Poor turkey having no hat for all types or atleast a leopard or not being utilized properly to the point we were main camping hoping to end the match.
I love their LAT kit with two M72s and red dot on a DMR rifle. In good hands it shreds infantry and MRAPs like nothing else. Also their compact trucks are cute and a pleasure to drive. Other than that, not a fan.

The amount of times I've seen "VOTE INSURGENTS" as attack on invasion then the team proceeds to get stomped and quit by the end of the round is insane
