Apparently redditors have found a new bug with armor where tanks have armor values increased if you face Northeast, Northwest, Southeast or Southwest. Apparently the devs were trying to model angled deflections and they somehow coded it to be dependent on compass heading.
Find a friend to play armor with and run some armor. Or just play in new player friendly servers there’s usually people who do open armor squads although they’re almost always very inexperienced
