- I think the CAS is very map dependent, playing it on open maps like barsah is a death sentence since AA can see you everywhere, on maps like Narva and Yeho I think it could be really powerful!

It’s definitely a high risk high reward heli right now. Maybe it will get an armor buff once manpads are in the game.

Do you really think that the developers will be able to introduce any air defense system into the game and not break everything?
In the game, half of the hits are still not registered when shooting in automatic mode, and at the moment the developers are thinking about introducing collision damage.
Collision damage in a game where a 70 ton abram can crash into a birch sapling and come to a complete stop...
It would be cool if friendlies used their coloured smokes to mark enemy positions for you, I’m thinking I might try that next time I get on
That's one way to do it, they could also just use the map markers

With a good coordination with squad leaders, this heli could provide rockets CAS more frequently than the commander asset. It’s perfect to destroy infantry in woods and opened space or to harass the hab. And also to ambush logi trucks, when they are spotted by the combat engineer.
only grenadiers and SL tho. I mean, only SLs since they can communicate with other squads

One thing I really dislike about squad is the damage models are ALL over the place. Infantry, fairly realistic quick death. Tanks, mixture of arcade tankiness with potential ammo rack, transport helis with magical pilot shields that can tank direct RPG shots, and now unarmored trucks that can tank a shit ton of minigun bullets. Just feels bad in that regard
transport heli being easy to shot would probably make them really bad to use. They already have a lot of challenge: piloting, not crashing, not getting viewed by enemy, especially when landing and placing a hab... No getting shot by small firearms or your crews will die...

If you’re talking about Logis, they won’t stop the bullets from taking out infantry in the vehicle. But I agree that it’s weird how many bullets it takes to blow the engine. In Jensen range at least, it takes 2 10 second bursts to kill the logo engines

I was not complaining about the main camp, I was complaining about how the engine is very weak (2 rifle shots fully engined me)

Can the CAS littlebird also take 2 to 4 passengers or just the copilot? If so, I'd wonder how effective it'd be to rocket run followed by a quick land and deploy your troops while they're suppressed from the rocket barrage, then take off and light minigun CAS before disappearing again.

Im a little why only vehicles shoot at the little bird in most matches, it seems like every MG player or automatic rifle should shoot at this thing and take it down.

I feel like everyone just has the "I need a dedicated AA option to attempt to try" when every 50cal is exactly what they need but refuse to use
I mean hell, the littlebird windows arent bullet proof so even a 556 round can take out the pilot with a good/lucky shot
Which is also why I feel like I see an absurd amount of comments like "They need to add dedicated AA to the game" when it already does have it... but I think they just want lockons.

Why do you have command ducked to right ear? Squad Leaders reach up to their left ear to communicate through command.

Using main's invulnerability to "bait" the enemy is a noob practice (main baiting). Don't do that. Respect the area equivalent to that of a FOB in MAIN. Let's play fair among all.

It’s just annoying because it’s soooooo hard to get a turn to use it. Like people fight over it and like first to claim bla bla no sharing. It’s sad, wish there was a better way of sharing use of it
