While I have your attention it would be great if you could custom folder libraries. Ie movies, classics. Or kids, tv - cartoons - etc. without tags and searching.

I'm glad to see they are making Plex dash better. I use it but recently I also spun up Tautulli in a docker container and it's pretty awesome, especially when looking at what's transcoding it just has more info. Might be a cool video to make.
I'll add it to my list! I do have it running on my NAS I haven't spent much time with it yet.

Downloads in Plex haven't been working right for many years. They really need to fix that. Seems like a simple feature especially if no transcoding is required.
How are downloads failing for you? I have managed to get downloads working on Air Port wifi and it worked. So im not really understanding when people say downloads don't work.
@@DrMacintosh Whenever I try to download something it just fails and gets stuck in the download queue. I only try to download when I'm offsite so maybe that's why idk
Hi Lon, i am looking for a better server for my plex would you recommend the terramaster f2-223 ??
I have some movies I buy on my wd my cloud, can I use Plex without to worry that I get in trouble ?
Between Plex Dash, Tautulli, Overseer, Array, & X-plore, I manage everything on my unRAID server from my phone. I just need to find a VNC client to handle some of the Dockers that use noVNC so I don't have to use Firefox.
If I enable subtitles for recorded shows plex buffers terribly but I could do it fine on a recast with no problems and I could do it on the HDHomerun app.I am really beginning to hate plex.
My Plex server runs on an Nvidia Shield. I expect this would work just the same, is that correct?
Yes it should work with any Plex server!

I was gonna comment something similar. I recently transitioned to The Fin and I could not be any happier. But I dont think Lon will easily head that direction. Love the channel but it looks like sponsored plex vids are a big part of the rotation. And thats fine truth be told most users are still using plex to self host. but plex is really headed in the wrong direction for true self hosting enthusiasts. Jellyfin is definitely the best option as we look to the future.

@@ncasale79 - I don't see why he couldn't do both, other than Jelly Fin might not have a big audience that would give him a good return on the investment.
