  • The 2023 #Ducati #Diavel V4 is here, updated and still just as much of a badass as ever. The new V4 engine though is just the start of the story, as this 2023 model has been totally updated, engine, frame, suspension, electronics... it's all new!
    We spent a couple of weeks with the bike for this review, then topped it off with a blast around the villages in #Silverstone on a gloriously sunny day - here's what we've found out.

    Rode one recently...very nice to ride and the engine is lovely. Does feel like a comfortable Streetfighter. Just waiting for a V4 Monster...please Ducati.

    Nice review & a great bike. Very very cool....& expensive. The 236kg is actually the wet weight which is impressive. There's also a £5k accessory exhaust that sheds 11kg & adds 12 bhp & makes it a 30k bike which is nuts but it is gorgeous.

      Yes, the optional 'race' exhaust looks great and does away with that hoofing great colostomy bag in front of the rear wheel, but £5k? Do me a favour... And yes, it sounds glorious but is 'not for road use' loud. Asking for a tug in Blighty... Waiting to see what the likes of Arrow concoct for this machine.

    No mods needed for this bike. Love the 4 pipe exhaust reminding you it’s a v4. The exhaust showing its self off similar to MV AGusta 800 rr triple. The unique 3 pipe muffler

    I own a Super Duke and a MV AGusta 800rr Pirelli edition. I have owned a monster 1200 in the past. I have always been intrigued by the Diavel. This model is definitely a step up from the old.

  • @Soysaucemoto
    @Soysaucemoto Год назад

    Jeez not much clearance for the sweepers. How would it do at very tight cambered turns? That's all I ride. Wonder if there are taller rear sets and taller seat.

    V4’s give you the best of both worlds, torque and high rpm horsepower. Engine so smooth.

    If I could ride as well as Toad and lived where there weren't speed limits with billiard table smooth roads and someone gave me $30K I would consider this motorcycle.
    None of those "ifs" are affirmative for me so a hard pass but I'll be happy if those "ifs" work out for you.

    …brought to you by Ducati!😂😂😂. Seriously, I have a 2022 XDiavel. I test rode the V4 extensively on two occasions. You get no perceivable performance increase, handling or acceleration. The V4 is a few pounds lighter and a bit more power but less torque. Same performance. It comes down to two things with this bike; smoother engine and looks. It is noticeably smoother. But to me, it looks worse. Very busy, jigsaw design. Over done. Way too much plastic and a ridiculous price at $30 grand out the door in the US, for BASE model. I’ll keep my X.

      Personally, coming from other big twins, you can keep yer 40 extra hp when it's developed north of 12k revs, or something daft. Gimme a fat midrange all day long for public road use.
