Great review! I looked at the extensible miter gauge and I was impressed too! Great features for the price. For the ruler, on their extensible version, it actually start from the other way. So exactly what you want. I shared a trick on how you can offset the fence and the blade and use the ruler. Kinda help on not hitting the fence although I still prefer relative dimensioning than using the ruler.
The measure tape direction depends on if you use the miter slot to the left or right of the blade. Realistically there is no way that it will be accurate to the bade without cutting it off at the zero mark :)
Looks like a good buy to me! I got the incra 1000, for my Bosch contractor table saw. Didn't have any decent way to accurately measure the mitre slot in the table saw at that time so I contacted Bosch to ask them the width. Got an email stating it was 19.2 mm. I thought: Great! The after market incra will fit! You can imagine my disappointment when the incra arrived and.... it did not fit!
Hi Dean, hope your well, a handy mitre gauge for the table saw, I see what you mean, having the measurements from the wrong side. looks good for the price, hope its useful for you. As always a great video, catch you soon take care
Yes I went to the site after watching Deans video and tried to purchase the mitre gauge it was sold out only one I could get was the £63.00 one got a few extra bells and whistles it came to day and fits perfect. Really glad Dean did the review also well happy with the one I ended up getting only set up needed was 4 grub screw to snug up the bar in the mitre track
The picture in the Vevor listing shows it on the right slot of the saw. Thats why the scale is left to right.
Sounds a very reasonable price for the build quality, thanks for the details on this.

I'd love one, got to make sure it will fit my Titan table saw though, thanks for the video Dean, it was very helpful.

I was gifted the same mitre guage ages ago & it's brilliant as is the one from Banggood
Dean, you're all over it this week, eh? Brilliant!
Anyone know if this will fit (or can be made to fit) a DeWalt 7485 with its bizarre mitre slot?
@ianwatkins3002 if you have the tabs in the slots just cut them off
@@jasonmiller8714 Sorry, what tabs?

@@Garylivingstone Thanks! You have the DeWalt 7485? Great saw, shame about the mitre gauge 🤣
@ianwatkins3002 I do have the 7485 I love it for what I do and wor a small 10x14 shed it fits well.
Cannot recommend the mitre gauge enough
Looks good might give it a try
Forty-five quid looks very reasonable. Often these third party ali mitre guages are north of a hundred.
Damn it, just checked the link and it's OOS! Hope it was an affiliate link as I'm sure you'll have driven some traffic through!!
