    I really love the skyline window where the sun comes in. You really build a big collection since the start. Also i love your new home. And kinda see your home tour the different parts of the house where you have plants. Just the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom no plants which we have seen. I am not a fan having plants in my bedroom cause scared attract insects not a good idea where you sleep. And the bathroom if i had a window there i might put a few. And kitchen i like putting some by the window aswell. Mainly my plants are at the sitting room side is where i have the large windows and get the most of the sun morning and afternoon.

    Thanks for the lovely plant tour. Wow that boogie cactus is just living it’s best life now, can’t wait to see if it makes more babies. I just got one recently. Love it so much. You have so many philodendrons! I only have two, and they are babies. My hoyas aren’t really doing much either lol. I have them in soil. Also love all those cool terracotta face planters so fun!

    @18:50 Every monstera technically has a front and a back. The roots go backwards in the tree or medium (moss pole) while the leaves face the opposite direction. I would move the pole to the exact opposite side, almost like the aerial roots are fingers grabbing the pole.

    Wow! Huge collection with a lot we never see anywhere else. Thank you for sharing and for the comments you make about each. Then we can recognize what we are after when plant searching. The sales people aren't always passionate about plants. They find customers who search every shelf for particular plants a bit strange. For them a plant is a plant. If we say that we are looking for a 'Florida Ghost' what will they think?

    you might want to check on your atabapoense roots it might be rotted :( It happened to my philodendron mexicanum (which I believe a little similar) had root rot it didn't die but also didn't grow at all for more than a month. then I found out the roots is rotted. so I cut away the rotted roots and propagate in leca it took a month to root then I transfer to soil. now is growing crazy fast now, in one month two new leaves. but I not sure during winter is a good idea or not.

    • @FelineJungle
      @FelineJungle  2 года назад +2

      Glad to hear you saved your mexicanum! I actually rooted it in LECA and there was so many roots. I wonder it its root bound actually. Ill have to take a look. Thanks for your suggestion~

    Do you have cold drafts during winter near your windows? Can your plants tolerate the draft? That String of Hearts is beautiful!! I don't have grow light... what's another alternative for a grow light??

    • @FelineJungle
      @FelineJungle  2 года назад

      I do get drafts! I actually made a winter plant care video where one tip is to move the plants always from my other window. Those plants here are more tolerant to drafts. If you dont have a growlight, you can move your more tolerate plants a south facing window! But my plants do a lot better with growlights even with just affordable ones i listed on my amazon.
