If Mike had his striking skills, and trained alot in take down defense and took it seriously, kind of Clarissa Shields doing, then I can see him being dangerous on his feet. I don’t like putting everything into mma terms either. I like each combat sports for what they are. That being said he would have to adjust alot of things too. The pickaboo style can be dangerous vs. season kick boxers. He would also have to learn to check kicks.
That being said, he would not have many people who could rival throwing hands with him though!
Every heavy weight has at least a decade of ground game because most of them come into prime after 30. And why they don't use submission? Because their opponent has also has solid defence so not smart to waste lots of energy on subs. Without Bjj and Kicks Tyson would suck in MMA.
